In some aspects, a user equipment may perform an initial random access channel (RACH) attempt by transmitting, to a base station, an initial request message of an initial two-step RACH procedure; and perform an additional RACH attempt, using an alternative two-step RACH procedure, based at least in part on determining that an initial response message, corresponding to the initial request message, of the two-step RACH procedure is not received during an initial random access response window. Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communication by a wireless device. The method generally includes selecting multiple transmission reception points (TRPs) of a plurality of TRPs to form a group of TRPs based on information indicative of relative positions between a user equipment (UE) and each of the plurality of TRPs such that the relative positions between the UE and the multiple TRPs satisfy a criteria. The multiple TRPs of the group of TRPs are selected such that levels of communication delay between each of the multiple TRPs and the UE are within a defined delay range. The method further includes communicating on an uplink using a single timing advance between the UE and the group of TRPs.

In some cases, a first node (e.g., a UE) performs, with two or more other nodes, a first beam sweep procedure across two or more antenna resources of the first node on two or more wireless interfaces, generates or obtains scheduling information based on results of the first beam sweep procedure, wherein the scheduling information indicates which of the antenna resources is scheduled for which wireless interfaces, and communicates with the other nodes on the wireless interfaces according to the scheduling information.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication associated with receiving downlink control information (DCI) communications. The indication may identify a first physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring location associated with receiving DCI communications during a first period of time, and a second PDCCH monitoring location associated with receiving DCI communications during a second period of time that follows the first period of time. The UE may monitor in the first PDCCH monitoring location and the second PDCCH monitoring location based at least in part on the indication.
