    Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method and apparatus by which a transmission terminal allocates resources in a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) system. An operating method of a terminal in a wireless communication system may include identifying a first candidate resource set for sidelink communication in a first resource selection window, through sensing based on first sidelink control information (SCI) received in a first sensing window, identifying a second candidate resource set for sidelink communication in a second resource selection window, through sensing based on second SCI received in a second sensing window, determining, based on the second SCI, whether to perform pre-emption or re-evaluation for a first resource, and when it is determined to perform the pre-emption or the re-evaluation for the first resource, triggering re-selection of resources for sidelink communication, and reporting the first resource for which the pre-emption or the re-evaluation has been performed, and the second candidate resource set to a higher layer of the terminal.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). A base station and a terminal that perform communication using an unlicensed band may divide a bandwidth part into subbands and may perform a channel access procedure for the respective subbands. A method for configuring a size of the subband and a method for configuring start/end frequency locations of the configured subband in order to perform the channel access procedure more efficiently in a communication system having various bandwidth sizes and subcarrier spacings.

    Abstract: A method of a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, includes receiving a downlink channel from a base station; identifying a reference slot associated with physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmission, wherein the identifying of the reference slot comprises, in case that a higher layer parameter configuring a sub-slot for a PUCCH is received, identifying that the reference slot is the last uplink slot for PUCCH transmission that overlaps with the downlink channel, and in case that the higher layer parameter is not received, identifying that the reference slot is the last uplink slot for PUCCH transmission that overlaps with a downlink slot for the downlink channel reception; and transmitting, to the base station, a PUCCH including hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgment (HARQ-ACK) information corresponding to the downlink channel based on the reference slot.
