Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector includes a mount member received in a metallic shell. A tongue portion is integrally formed with a front end of the mount member. Accordingly, a grounding plate, first receptacle terminals, and second receptacle terminals that are at the front end of the mount member can be positioned. In addition, the front ends of the first receptacle terminals are held in a first surface of the tongue portion, and the front ends of the second receptacle terminals are held in a second surface of the tongue portion. Since the tongue portion and the mount member are formed integrally with each other, the first receptacle terminals, the second receptacle terminals, and the mount member can be firmly positioned with each other. Accordingly, when the connector is impacted by a foreign force, the components of the connector would not detach from each other easily.

Abstract: A receptacle connector includes an insulation housing bracket, a first flat grounding contact and a shielding member. The housing base has a first outer surface, and the first flat grounding contact is combined with the insulation housing bracket. The shielding member includes a shielding body and a first connecting portion. The shielding body is installed inside the insulation housing bracket, and the first flat grounding contact is located between the first outer surface and the shielding member. The first connecting portion protrudes from the shielding body and is securely fixed on the first grounding contact in a laser welding manner, such that the shielding body is electrically connected to the first grounding contact.

Abstract: A waterproof electrical receptacle connector includes a plastic shell, a metallic shell, an insulated housing, and a sealing member (e.g., a waterproof glue block). The plastic shell has a through hole and includes an inserting end and a sealed end respectively at two sides of the through hole. The metallic shell is disposed in the through hole and the metallic shell defines a receiving cavity. The insulated housing is disposed in the receiving cavity. A plurality of receptacle terminals is assembled to the insulated housing.
