Abstract: This application provides a communication method and apparatus, and relates to the field of communication technologies. The method includes: An AP generates a trigger frame, where the trigger frame includes a first user information field, a part or all of a frequency domain resource indicated by a resource unit allocation subfield in a fourth user information field before the first user information field is located on a primary 160 MHz channel, and a part or all of a frequency domain resource indicated by a resource unit allocation subfield in a fourth user information field after the first user information field is located on a secondary 160 MHz channel. Then, the AP sends the trigger frame.

Abstract: This application provides a receive chain enabled state switching method and a first multi-link device. The method includes: A first multi-link device receives, by using a first link, a first frame sent by a second multi-link device to the first multi-link device; and the first multi-link device makes one or more second links be in a multi-receive-chain enabled state, where the second link is a link that is between the first multi-link device and the second multi-link device and that is different from the first link. The method provided in this application helps the second multi-link device perform data transmission with the first multi-link device on the second link in a timely manner by using a plurality of spatial flows. This application may be applied to a plurality of Wi-Fi systems supporting an 802.11 standard, for example, the 802.11be standard.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application relate to the communication field, and in particular, to a multi-link communication method and an apparatus. A STA in a STA MLD sends an information frame on a link corresponding to the station, and the information frame is used to indicate a STA in an awake state in the STA MLD. An AP MLD receives the information frame, and sends a downlink message frame on a one or more links corresponding to a part of or all of STAs in the awake state in the STA MLD, to assist the part of or all of the stations in fast accessing a channel without waiting for a NAVSyncDelay time period.

Abstract: A method for determining a receiving status of a data frame and a first multi-link device. The method includes sending data frames to a second multi-link device over multiple links; receiving, over a first link in the multiple links, a block acknowledgment (BA) frame, where a bitmap in the BA frame indicates a receiving status of a data frame transmitted over the first link and indicates a receiving status of a data frame transmitted over a second link in the multiple links, and determining, based on a first time and a second time, a receiving status of a data frame corresponding to a first bit.

Abstract: Application provides a data transmission method and apparatus, to perform data transmission when a plurality of interfaces included by an AP side in packet-level multi-link aggregation belong to different physical devices. The method includes: A first AP generates, and sends a first data frame to a STA carrying a first MSDU, a sequence number of the first MSDU, and a traffic identifier TID of the first MSDU. The first AP generates and sends a second data frame to a second AP. The second data frame includes a third data frame, the third data frame carries a second MSDU, a sequence number of the second MSDU, and a TID of the second MSDU, the TID of the first MSDU is the same as the TID of the second MSDU, and the sequence number of the first MSDU and the sequence number of the second MSDU are allocated based on an obtaining sequence.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an access method, including: sending, to an access point, a first frame that carries uplink transmission requirement information; and if a second frame that carries information about an uplink transmission resource is received from the access point within agreed time period, sending uplink multi-user transmission data to the access point, where the uplink multi-user transmission data is transmitted on the uplink transmission resource; or if the second frame is not received within an agreed time period, accessing, by a station, a channel in a contention access manner that is based on carrier sense CSMA/CA. According to the method provided in the embodiments of the present invention, a channel access manner can be managed, a congestion degree of a system can be decreased, and channel utilization can be increased.
