摘要: A method includes a first device that sends a spectrum sensing request frame to a second device, where the spectrum sensing request frame requests the second device to perform spectrum sensing. The second device sends a request acknowledgment frame which, is used to acknowledge that the spectrum sensing request frame is received. The second device performs spectrum sensing based on the at least one spectrum sensing parameter, to obtain a spectrum sensing result. The second device sends a spectrum sensing feedback frame to the first device, where the spectrum sensing feedback frame is used to feed back the spectrum sensing result. The first device sends the spectrum sensing request frame, so that the second device can perform spectrum sensing based on information carried in the spectrum sensing request frame, and the first device can obtain the accurate spectrum sensing result of the second device.

摘要: A data transmission indication method and apparatuses carrying out the method are described herein. The method includes sending, by an access point, orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) physical layer signaling to a terminal. The OFDMA physical layer signaling indicates, to the terminal, a subchannel allocated for the terminal, so that the terminal determines the subchannel according to the OFDMA physical layer signaling. The OFDMA physical layer signaling includes an identifier of the terminal and subchannel information corresponding to the identifier of the terminal. A manner in which the access point allocates a subchannel for each terminal according to OFDMA physical layer signaling enables the access point to indicate subchannels for more terminals.

摘要: A method and an apparatus are provided. The method includes: generating, by an access point (AP), a first frame including P station information fields, each of which corresponds to one resource unit (RU) allocated to a first station (STA), wherein P is a positive integer greater than 1, each station information field further includes end indication information, which indicates whether the station information field is the last station information field in the P station information fields. The AP may allocate P RUs to the first STA, and indicate the P RUs to the first STA through the P station information fields in the first frame. According to the application, a resource allocation manner of the AP can be more flexible, a frequency selective gain of an OFDMA system can be effectively improved, and a system capacity can be increased.

摘要: The technology of this application relates to methods and apparatuses for sending and receiving a physical layer protocol data unit. The method includes generating a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU), where the PPDU includes a short training field, a length of a frequency domain sequence of the short training field is greater than a first length, and the first length is a length, for example, 2048, of a frequency domain sequence of a short training field that is transmitted over a 160 MHz-bandwidth channel. The method further includes sending the PPDU over a target channel, where a bandwidth of the target channel is greater than 160 MHz. According to embodiments of this application, a larger actual channel bandwidth can be achieved, and backward compatibility is implemented.

摘要: An example wake-up packet sending method includes obtaining, by a sending apparatus, a wake-up packet (WUP), where the WUP includes a preamble sequence, and sending the WUP to wake up a main receiver of a receiving apparatus. The preamble sequence includes N consecutive first sequences S, where N is an integer greater than or equal to 2 (for example, [S S]), and the N consecutive first sequences S are used to indicate that a data rate used for the WUP is a first value. Or the preamble sequence includes a second sequence M, where the second sequence M is used to indicate that a data rate used for the WUP is a second value, and the second sequence M and a first sequence S are in a bit logical negation relationship.

摘要: This application provides a method for transmitting a wake-up packet in a communications system and a device. The communications system includes a transmit end device and a receive end device. The receive end device includes a wake-up receiver and a main transceiver. The method includes: sending, by the transmit end device, a first wake-up packet WUP to the wake-up receiver by using a first data rate; determining, by the transmit end device, a second data rate; and sending, by the transmit end device, a second WUP to the wake-up receiver by using the second data rate. The transmit end device can determine a proper data rate for sending a wake-up packet based on a specific transmission condition in a communication process, thereby improving transmission efficiency of the wake-up packet.
