Abstract:
An effluent produced in oxidation of a cellulosic material with an oxidizing agent in the presence of an N-oxyl compound and a bromide and/or iodide is deionized by electrodialysis to an inorganic salt concentration of less than 0.4%, whereby the N-oxyl compound in the effluent is concentrated and recovered. The N-oxyl compound thus recovered can be reused in oxidation of a cellulosic material. Preferably, the effluent is subjected to reduction treatment and ion exchange resin treatment prior to the electrodialysis.
Abstract:
Provided is a service providing device including a biometric information extraction unit for extracting biometric information, which is information unique to a living body, from living body image data obtained by capturing an image of a part of the living body, an authentication request unit for transmitting the biometric information extracted by the biometric information extraction unit and collation order information, which is information relating to an order of collating at least a piece of registered biometric information registered in advance with the biometric information at a time of authentication of the biometric information, to a biometric authentication server for authenticating the biometric information based on the at least a piece of registered biometric information registered in advance, and for requesting the authentication of the extracted biometric information, and a service providing unit for providing a specific service to a user according to an authentication result for the biometric information.
Abstract:
An authentication apparatus includes: a vein data extracting unit that extracts vein data representing veins, from an image including the veins existing in a finger; an extracting unit that extracts position data representing the position which the contour of the finger has at an intermediate stage of extracting the vein data; and a determining unit that determines a collation candidate to be collated with the vein data, from the similarity between the position data and data associated with vein data to be registered.
Abstract:
A golf club has a reverse flex of 110 to 160 mm. The face portion includes a central thick part, a toe-crown-side thin part on a crown-side and on a toe-side of the central thick part, and a heel-sole-side thin part on a sole-side and on a heel-side of the central thick part. In the front view of the head, a first straight line passing an area centroid of the toe-crown-side thin part and an area centroid of a back surface of the face portion has an angle θA of 10 to 30 degrees, and a second straight line passing an area centroid of the heel-sole-side thin part and the area centroid of the back surface of the face portion has an angle θB of 36 to 40 degrees, each with respect to the horizontal plane.
Abstract:
With a digital still camera, a user freely detects a smiling face on a touchpanel displaying a through image and selects a subject having that smiling face. The digital still camera displays the smiling face as a smiling face detection target and a non-target detected face on the through image in a distinctly different manner to discriminate the smiling face detection target from the non-target detected face. For example, when persons in an event such as a party are photographed in a relatively large viewing angle, an auto photographing operation may be performed in response to smiling face detections on condition that at least two members in the party are smiling.
Abstract:
A magnetic resolver includes a stator core made of magnetic material, coils, and a rotor. The stator core has a base plate and protrusions formed integrally with the base plate so as to protrude from a surface of the base plate in the thickness direction. The coils are provided around the respective protrusions. The rotor is disposed so as to face the surface of the base plate with the coils interposed therebetween. The overlapping area between the rotor and each of the protrusions changes with a change in a rotation angle of the rotor relative to the stator core. The stator core has through-holes that pass through the base plate and the respective protrusions in the thickness direction.
Abstract:
A registering device, a registering method, an authentication device and an authentication method that can perform authentication with high speed while reducing an increase in the storage capacity are proposed. From a living-body image for authentication, a feature area included in the living-body image is detected. Further, a part having the same shape and the same size as those of the feature area is cut out from each of a plurality of living-body information items that are stored in a storage means based on position information associated with the living-body information item. A candidate for verification against the living-body image for authentication is selected from the plurality of living-body information items based on the resemblance between each of these cut-out parts and the feature area of the living-body image for authentication, and it is determined whether or not a registered person based on the result of verification of a living body indicated by a selected living-body information item against a living body shown in the living-body image for authentication.
Abstract:
The present invention includes acquiring purchase history information related to a product purchased by a user, from a storage means that stores the purchase history information (S2), generating and acquiring an image object indicating a display mode which changes in response to purchase history information (S3), generating a web page which displays the image object, and transmitting the web page to a terminal device through a network and displaying the web page (S5).
Abstract:
The present invention improves authentication accuracy. A first ranking among a plurality of reduced registration images is determined based on the similarities of the plurality of reduced registration images with respect to each of the reduced registration images used as a reference. Further, a second ranking among the plurality of reduced registration images is determined based on the similarities of the plurality of reduced registration images with respect to a reduced comparison image. Then, in the case where none of first ranking data has a ranking correlation value with respect to second ranking data equal to or larger than a predetermined threshold, it is determined that authentication has failed.
Abstract:
An end of a detection body provided contactable with an upper side peripheral surface of a coin rolling on a coin path hooks into reeding of the coin, and thus the detection body is moved to a moving direction. The movement of the detection body moves a receiving portion in the same direction, and rotates in a predetermined direction an axis support integrally provided with the receiving portion. The rotation of the axis receiver retracts from the coin path a sorting body projecting to the coin path. A release body proceeds to the coin path. The retraction of the sorting body from the coin path allows the coin to further roll on the coin path, press the release body, rotate the axis support reversely, and return the detection body and the sorting body to a standby position.
