Abstract: Wireless communication devices, systems, and methods related to power saving, including during connected mode operation and for extended reality (XR) data communications with or without discontinuous reception (DRX), are provided. For example, a method of wireless communication can include receiving, while in a connected mode, a configuration based on data traffic for the wireless communication device, the configuration indicating: a first zone associated with a first set of operating parameters for the wireless communication device; and a second zone associated with a second set of operating parameters for the wireless communication device, the second set of operating parameters being different than the first set of operating parameters; operating in the first zone with the first set of operating parameters to monitor for a first downlink communication signal; and operating in the second zone with the second set of operating parameters.

An example method generally includes monitoring for at least first and second downlink control information (DCI) formats for scheduling a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH), determining a bitwidth of a rate matching indicator field of at least one of the first DCI format or the second DCI format, and performing PDSCH rate matching for a PDSCH scheduled by a DCI of the first or second DCI format based, at least in part, on the rate matching indicator field in the DCI or a format of the DCI.

In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may apply a timing adjustment for a sidelink connection with a second UE, wherein the timing adjustment causes a slot structure on the sidelink connection to align with a slot structure on an uplink connection with a base station; and transmit sidelink feedback, received via the sidelink connection, on the uplink connection based at least in part on the timing adjustment, wherein the sidelink feedback is mapped to a slot on the uplink connection, of two or more slots on the uplink connection that the sidelink feedback overlaps, based at least in part on a rule. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify a collision between a first uplink transmission and a second uplink transmission, wherein the first uplink transmission is a high priority uplink transmission and the second uplink transmission is a low priority uplink transmission; and cancel the second uplink transmission based at least in part on a threshold delay period, wherein the threshold delay period is based at least in part on a UE processing capability and a minimum processing timeline capability, and wherein the second uplink transmission is canceled before a first overlapping symbol of the first uplink transmission and the second uplink transmission. Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, apparatus, and computer programs encoded on a computer storage media for determining a transmit power of an uplink transmission to one or more serving cells in a secondary cell group (SCG). In one aspect, a wireless device may determine a deadline prior to the uplink transmission to the one or more serving cells in the secondary cell group. The wireless device may determine whether to perform a semi-static uplink transmission that is not scheduled by a DCI format to a serving cell in a master cell group. The wireless device may and adjust a transmit power of the uplink transmission to the one or more serving cells in the secondary cell group in response to determining to perform the semi-static uplink transmission to the serving cell in the master cell group.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for coordinated power savings configurations for access link and sidelink(s). A wireless node may receive information from a user equipment (UE) over a sidelink. In some aspects, the wireless node forwards the information to a base station (BS) over an access link and receives, from the BS, a first power savings configuration for the access link and a second power savings configuration for the sidelink. In some aspects, the wireless node receives, from a BS, a first power savings configuration for an access link and determines a second power savings configuration for the sidelink based on the information and the first power savings configuration.
