Heat transfer fins are thermally coupled to the heater and extend in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction.     Abstract: A thermowell assembly for use in measuring a temperature of a process fluid includes an elongate thermowell body configured to mount to a process vessel and extend into the process fluid. An elongate bore extends along a length of the thermowell body from a proximal end of the thermowell body proximate a wall of the process vessel to a sealed distal end of the thermowell body positioned in the process fluid. A side bore extends from an exterior of the thermowell assembly to the elongate bore. The side bore is positioned outside of the process vessel. A verification valve includes an inlet coupled to the side bore at the exterior of the thermowell assembly and further includes an outlet.

A process component exhibits relative motion as a function of a process variable. The image captures device captures an image which changes due to the relative motion of the process component. Output circuitry provides an output related to the measured process variable.

    Abstract: A remote seal assembly for a process transmitter includes a seal body containing a cavity sealed by a diaphragm. The seal body configured to be mounted to a process element containing a process fluid such that a first side of the diaphragm is exposed to the process fluid. A capillary contains a fill fluid that is in fluid communication with the cavity and a second side of the diaphragm. A coupling has a capillary recess and two cavities separated by a second diaphragm. The capillary extends through the capillary recess and connects to the coupling such that the fill fluid in the capillary is in fluid communication with one of the two cavities and the second diaphragm. A thermally conductive element preferably extends continuously along the capillary from the seal body toward the coupling and into the capillary recess without contacting the coupling.

    Abstract: A display assembly with a software rotatable content layout for a process control transmitter. The assembly has a display screen configured for displaying the rotatable content layout in a plurality of configurations and at least one physical button fixedly positioned proximate one side of the display screen. In one embodiment, the display layout comprises an upper perimeter band and a lower perimeter band reserved for displaying at least one label and a right side band and a left side band reserved for displaying an indicator attached to the at least one label and a third, interior region reserved for displaying additional text such that the at least one label is visually attached to the physical button proximate the one side of the display screen. The display is rotatable to maintain content in a viewer orientation such that at least one label is visually tied to at least one physical button in each of the plurality of configurations.

The output analog circuitry has a transfer function and the filter has a transfer function. The transfer function of the filter at least partially offsets the transfer function of the output analog circuitry.
