    Abstract: This application discloses a communications method, and the method includes: receiving, by a terminal device, first information, where the first information is used to indicate one or more first time units in a random access system frame; and determining, by the terminal device, the one or more first time units based on the first information and a configuration table, where one or more time units in the configuration table are determined based on an uplink-downlink configuration period and a second time unit, the one or more first time units are an optional time domain resource of a random access sequence, and the second time unit is an optional time domain resource of a synchronization channel block. According to the method and the apparatus in this application, the optional time domain resource of the random access sequence can be determined.

    Abstract: This application discloses a channel quality information reporting method and apparatus, to resolve a prior-art problem that a communication link transmission failure is caused due to movement of user equipment. The method includes: sending, by a network device, P1 first reference signals to user equipment on a first reference signal resource, and sending P2 second reference signals to the user equipment on a second reference signal resource; performing, by the user equipment, channel quality measurement on the received first reference signal and the received second reference signal; and reporting, by the user equipment to the network device, M reference signal resource indexes, channel quality information corresponding to the M reference signal resource indexes, and reference signal types or reference signal resource set indexes corresponding to the M reference signal resource indexes.

    Abstract: This application relates to the field of wireless communications technologies, and in particular, to a sounding reference information (SRS) transmission method, to resolve a problem of when to transmit an SRS. In the method, user equipment (UE) receives SRS resource configuration information sent by a base station. The UE receives downlink control information (DCI) sent by the base station. The UE sends an SRS in a determined slot and symbol, where the determined symbol is determined by the UE based on the SRS resource configuration information.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to signaling transmission methods. In one example method, a base station receives an uplink reference signal sent by user equipment (UE). The base station determines a quantity of antenna ports, where the quantity of antenna ports is a quantity of antenna ports used by the UE to send the uplink reference signal. The base station determines frequency domain resource information based on the quantity of antenna ports, where the frequency domain resource information indicates at least one of a quantity of sub-bands or a sub-band bandwidth. The base station determines a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) of each sub-band based on the frequency domain resource information. The base station sends the PMI of the sub-band to the UE.
