    Abstract: A video decoding method according to the present document comprises a step of deriving transform coefficients for a current block on the basis of residual information, wherein the step of deriving the transform coefficients comprises a step of deriving a zero-out block indicating a region in which effective transform coefficients may exist in the current block, wherein the zero-out block is derived on the basis of flag information indicating whether multiple transform selection (MTS), in which a plurality of transform kernels are used, can be applied to the current block.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for processing a video signal by using a linear relationship between transform types, comprising the steps of: determining a transform group on the basis of a prediction mode of a current block; parsing a transform combination index from a video signal, wherein the transform combination index indicates anyone of a plurality of transform combinations in the transform group; deriving a transform combination corresponding to the transform combination index, wherein the transform combination consists of a horizontal transform and a vertical transform, and includes DST-7 or DCT-8; performing inverse transform on the current block on the basis of the transform combination; and restoring the video signal by using the inverse transformed current block.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a video signal processing method and device. Particularly, a method for decoding a video signal, may comprise the steps of: checking whether a transfer skip is applied to a current block; obtaining, from a video signal, a transform index for indicating a transform type set applied to the current block when the transform skip is not applied to the current block, wherein the transform type set includes transform types applied to the current block in horizontal and vertical directions; checking whether the transform type set includes DCT2; determining a region to which a primary transform is applied based on a checking result; and performing an inverse transform on the region to which the primary transform is applied in the horizontal and vertical directions using the transform types included in the transform type set.

    Abstract: The embodiments of the present disclosure provides a method and apparatus for video signal processing. A method for decoding an image signal according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include determining an input length and an output length of a non-separable transform based on a height and a width of a current block; determining a non-separable transform matrix corresponding to the input length and the output length of a non-separable transform; and applying the non-separable transform matrix to coefficients by a number of the input length in the current block, wherein the height and the width of a current block is greater than or equal to 8, wherein, if each of the height and the width of a current block is equal to 8, the input length of the non-separable transform is determined as 8.
