摘要: A method of visual media processing method includes performing a conversion between a current video block of a current picture of a visual media data and a bitstream representation of the visual media data. The conversion is based on a reference region from the current picture comprising reference samples used for deriving a prediction block of the current video block. A virtual buffer of a defined size is used for tracking availability of the reference samples for deriving the prediction block.

摘要: Several methods and systems for masking multimedia data are disclosed. In an embodiment, a method for masking includes performing a prediction for at least one multimedia data block based on a prediction mode of a plurality of prediction modes. The at least one multimedia data block is associated with a region of interest (ROI). A residual multimedia data associated with the at least one multimedia data block is generated based on the prediction. A quantization of the residual multimedia data is performed based on a quantization parameter (QP) value. The QP value is variable such that varying the QP value controls a degree of masking of the ROI.

摘要: New intra planar modes are introduced for predicting digital video data. As part of the new intra planar modes, various methods are offered for predicting a first sample within a prediction unit, where the first sample is needed for referencing to when processing the new intra planar modes. And once the first sample is successfully predicted, the new intra planar modes are able to predict a sample of video data within the prediction unit by processing a bi-linear interpolation of four previously reconstructed reference samples.

摘要: An apparatus of decoding video data can include a prediction mode decoding module to derive a luma intra prediction mode and a chroma intra prediction mode; a prediction size determining module to determine a size of a luma transform unit and a size of a chroma transform unit using transform size information; a reference pixel generating module to generate referential pixels if at least one reference pixel is unavailable; and a reference pixel filtering module adaptively filter the reference pixels of a current luma block based on the luma intra prediction mode and the size of the luma transform unit. The apparatus can further include a prediction block generating module to generate prediction blocks of the current luma block and the current chroma block; and a residual bock generating module to generate residual blocks of the current luma block and the current chroma block.

The rule specifies that, for iteratively determining information about the one or more rectangular slices, a variable indicating a tile index is updated only for slices having indices that are smaller than a value equal to a number of slices in the video picture minus 1.

摘要: To achieve a reduction in the amount of coding taken in the use of an asymmetric partition and to implement efficient encoding/decoding processes exploiting the characteristics of the asymmetric partition. An image decoding device includes a motion compensation parameter derivation unit configured to derive a motion compensation parameter indicating either a uni-prediction scheme or a bi-prediction scheme. In a case that a prediction unit has a size less than or equal to a predetermined value, the motion compensation parameter derivation unit is configured to derive the motion compensation parameter by switching between the prediction schemes.
