    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure include methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for establishing a communication link with a second UE, transmitting first information associated with first beam configurations of the first UE to the second UE, receiving second information associated with second beam configurations of the second UE from the second UE, and performing a beam training process by transmitting a number of reference signals to the second UE, wherein the number is derived from the first information associated with the first beam configurations and the second information associated with the second beam configurations.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine that a control resource set (CORESET) is not configured for an active downlink bandwidth part of a component carrier (CC) of the UE. The UE may determine that a transmission configuration indication (TCI) state is not activated for a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) of the active downlink bandwidth part of the CC. The UE may determine a default spatial relation for an uplink control channel or uplink signal for the CC based at least in part on determining that the CORESET is not configured for the active downlink bandwidth part of the CC and that the TCI state is not activated for the PDSCH of the active downlink bandwidth part of the CC.     Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for managing beam failure recovery operations. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) generally includes performing beam failure detection (BFD) of a beam pair link (BPL) associated with a secondary cell (Scell) of a base station (BS), sending a beam failure recovery request (BFRQ) message in another cell of the BS, the BFRQ message including an indication of a candidate recovery beam for the Scell, and starting a timer based on sending the BFRQ.

    Abstract: In an aspect, the present disclosure includes a method, apparatus, and computer readable medium for wireless communications for receiving, by a network entity from a user equipment (UE), a component carrier/bandwidth portion (CC/BWP) grouping capability message that indicates a capability of the UE to support CC/BWP group-based signaling; transmitting, by the network entity to the UE, a CC/BWP grouping indication that identifies at least one CC/BWP group based on the CC/BWP grouping capability message; transmitting, by the network entity to the UE, a CC/BWP configuration message that includes CC/BWP group configuration information that identifies a CC/BWP group configuration for the at least one CC/BWP group; communicating, by the network entity with the UE, on at least one CC/BWP of the at least one CC/BWP group based on one or more communication parameters configured according to the CC/BWP group configuration.
