Abstract:
A liquid extraction cleaner includes a recovery tank mounted to the forward end of a cleaner housing with a suction nozzle and conduit on a front face of the recovery tank connected to an inlet opening in the recovery tank. A vacuum source is connected to the recovery tank through a working conduit integrally formed in the recovery tank, the recovery tank removably received in a cavity on a front portion of the cleaner housing, and including a pivotal connection and latch for securing the tank to the housing. A removable cleaning fluid supply tank is mounted to a rear portion of the cleaner housing, having depressions formed thereon to aid removal, and retained thereon by the seal between the supply tank and the housing. A recharging base for the cleaner has a guide pin and electrical connector for aligning to form an electrical connection with a battery charging circuit.

The present invention is a squeegee with squeegee handle and remote spraying device, which includes a squeegee section having an enclosed container for holding liquid, a sprayer head, which is in connection with the squeegee section, and a surface extending in a lengthwise direction. The enclosed container has a threaded neck. The sprayer head has a threaded cap adapted for engaging the threaded neck, as well as a dispensing means for dispensing the liquid. The dispensing means includes a trigger being in connection with a conduit, a nozzle at an end of the sprayer head, and pressure inducing means for inducing a pressure change in the conduit so as to draw spraying agent into the conduit and out of the nozzle. The conduit extends through the threaded cap and into the enclosed container. There is also a squeegee blade attached to the sprayer head and being nearly perpendicular to the surface of said enclosed container. In preferred embodiments, an extended handle further includes a plurality of sections in which each section extends to allow for longer reaching range.

A glass cleaning device including a resilient hollow bottle having a hollow interior reservoir for containing and dispensing window cleaning fluid, the resilient hollow bottle having a squeegee wiper edge extending therefrom parallel to the longitudinal axis of the resilient hollow bottle, the bottle having a bottom end and a top end, the bottom end being closed and the top end being open to enable glass cleaning fluid to be dispensed therefrom, the top end of the bottle having a cap with an aperture therein for dispensing cleaning fluid therethrough and an array of bristles thereon for scrubbing the glass being cleaned, the cap being movable between a first position and a second position to selectively dispense cleaning fluid from the reservoir through the cap and into the bristles for cleaning the glass.

A window washing accessory cleaning tool adapted for use with a water extraction cleaning machine has a solution spray nozzle integrated therewith and a combination suction and scrubbing head rotatably mounted with respect to the solution spray nozzle. The cleaning solution spray nozzle is provided on one side of a dual conduit support member and a head is rotatably mounted to the dual conduit support member. A foam applicator/scrub pad is provided along one end of the head and a suction nozzle opening defined by a squeegee blade and a rigid flange are provided one the other side of the head. With this structure, the applicator/scrub pad and suction nozzle can be rotated with respect to the cleaning solution spray nozzles, thereby making the accessory cleaning tool adaptable for a wide variety of cleaning operations. Preferably, the window washing accessory cleaning tool is removably mounted to the end of the flexible hose.

A cleaning attachment for a vacuum cleaner including a cleaning solution reservoir, a manually operated cleaning solution dispenser mounted to the reservoir, a suction tube secured at one end to the reservoir, and a nozzle assembly. The nozzle assembly is secured to the suction tube at a location remote from the reservoir, and includes a nozzle body, a wiper assembly secured to the nozzle body, and a support arm extending from the nozzle body and beyond the reservoir. The support arm defines an opening through which the reservoir extends, and has a sponge assembly or a brush assembly interchangeably and removably secured to a distal end thereof. The dispenser engages the support arm adjacent the opening and retains the support arm in position relative to the reservoir.

A cleaning tool having a basic body which exhibits a handle and a holding device for the reception of a liquid-absorbing element for moistening an object to be wiped, most particularly a flat surface. The cleaning tool also has a mounting for a scraping element for sweeping the object in order to dry it, wherein the holding device is disposed between the mounting and the handle in such a way that, by changing the inclination of the basic body relative to the object, the latter can either be moistened or the moisture upon the object can be stripped off by the cleaning tool, and in a sweeping setting of the cleaning tool, the swept-off moisture being able to be absorbed by the liquid-absorbing element. The basic body may be pivotable relative to the handle from a first spring-loaded position into a second spring-loaded position. The scraping element may have two rubber lips. A wiping cloth, preferably having a cross section which is V-shaped, may be held by the holding device.

A portable hand-held steam vacuum cleaner is provided which includes a housing having a handle portion and a nozzle portion. A reservoir is defined in the housing for retaining cleaning solution or water, and a heating unit is associated with the reservoir for heating the liquid so as to generate steam for delivery to a surface to be cleaned. A motor driven fan assembly is disposed within the housing in communication with the nozzle portion for drawing excess liquid and debris into the nozzle portion. The nozzle portion defines structure for separating and containing the liquid which is drawn into the vacuum cleaner.
