摘要： A spray delivery system including a sectional boom attachable to a vehicle. The boom includes first and second movable arms and a fixed arm, each arm housing a plurality of spray nozzles. Each arm can include a frame having openings so that the arms are light-weight and so that the nozzles housed in the frames for protection can spray through the openings in the bottom surface of the frame. The movable arms include an operation position and a retracted position and the arms each include a drift shroud covering to prevent wind from interfering with the application of spray from nozzles. The drift shrouds can include windows that align with the openings in the frame such that an operator can see the spray from the nozzle from the operator's seat in the vehicle.

摘要： A method of detecting the actuation of a sprinkler involves sensing a first fluid pressure at a first flow cross section, in one of the sprinkler and a conduit in which the sprinkler is mounted, sensing a second fluid pressure at a second flow cross section, in the sprinkler, wherein said first flow cross section is larger than said second flow cross section, and comparing the fluid pressures sensed at the first and second flow cross sections in order to detect a change in the relation of the fluid pressures due to actuation of the sprinkler, and thereby detect actuation of the sprinkler. The fluid pressures are sensed by ports in the sprinkler, or by one port in the sprinkler and one port in the conduit, and at least one transducer connected to the ports, and output signals from the transducer are sent to a computer or other recording instrument.

摘要： A portable device for measuring the refrigerant pressure in an automobile air conditioning system and, if needed, charging the system with additional refrigerant, is provided. An actuator is coupled to a pressurized container that selectively opens the container valve. A hose is provided, the first end of which is connected to the actuator, and the second end is coupleable to a service port of an automobile air conditioner. A T-connector with a check valve is disposed in the hose, and a pressure gauge is connected to the T-connector. When the second end of the hose is coupled to a service port and the actuator is not activated, the pressure gauge measures a pressure of the air conditioner. When the second end is coupled to a service port and the actuator is activated, refrigerant is released from the pressurized container and into the air conditioner.

摘要： An endless track assembly wherein the weight of an associated vehicle/equipment is supported by the track framework. The track assembly provides a framework having a number of idler rollers and a drive sprocket that mounts to a rotational drive power source. The weight of the vehicle is transferred from a vehicle/equipment support flange that cooperates with a complementary support surface of the track framework and an intermediate bearing liner. The bearing support surfaces cooperate to permit the track frame to pivot relative to the chassis independent of the drive sprocket. The track assembly is particularly adapted to pivoting irrigation systems.

摘要： An improved hydrant diffuser, comprising a housing or box with one open end, slows and directs the flow of water from a hydrant when the hydrant has been opened to flush a water line. The diffuser can be mounted on any work truck or other vehicle having a class 3 trailer hitch receiver. A hose may be coupled to a fire hydrant to carry water to the diffuser. The other end of the hose is non-releasably attached to a 90-degree elbow which can be coupled to a flange bolted to the top of the diffuser box. The diffuser mounting to the truck includes means that allow the box outlet to be pointed straight back from the truck or in selected positions up to 90 degrees either to the right or left. A debris screen across the outlet end stops any rocks or other solid objects in the water stream.
