摘要: A method and apparatus for compressing gases and supplying fuel to a gaseous fuel consuming device, such as a gaseous fueled vehicle or the like. One embodiment includes a gas compressor for compressing the gaseous fuel to an array of tanks having predetermined initial set points which are increasing for tanks in the array. One embodiment provides a selecting valve having first and second families of ports wherein the valve can be operated to select a plurality of ports from the first family to be fluidly connected with a plurality of ports with the second family, and such fluid connections can be changed by operation of the valve.

摘要: Embodiments include systems and methods of in-line mixing of hydrocarbon liquids from a plurality of tanks into a single pipeline. According to an embodiment, a method of admixing hydrocarbon liquids from a plurality of tanks into a single pipeline to provide in-line mixing thereof includes determining a ratio of a second fluid flow to a first fluid flow based on signals received from a tank flow meter in fluid communication with the second fluid flow and a booster flow meter in fluid communication with a blended fluid flow. The blended fluid flow includes a blended flow of the first fluid flow and the second fluid flow. The method further includes comparing the determined ratio to a pre-selected set point ratio thereby to determine a modified flow of the second fluid flow to drive the ratio toward the pre-selected set point ratio. The method further includes controlling a variable speed drive connected to a pump thereby to control the second fluid flow through the pump based on the determined modified flow, the pump being in fluid communication with the second fluid flow.

摘要: A pumping cassette including a housing having at least two inlet fluid lines and at least two outlet fluid lines. At least one balancing pod within the housing and in fluid connection with the fluid paths. The balancing pod balances the flow of a first fluid and the flow of a second fluid such that the volume of the first fluid equals the volume of the second fluid. The balancing pod also includes a membrane that forms two balancing chambers. Also included in the cassette is at least two reciprocating pressure displacement membrane pumps. The pumps are within the housing and they pump the fluid from a fluid inlet to a fluid outlet line and pump the second fluid from a fluid inlet to a fluid outlet.

摘要: A blood treatment apparatus having an extracorporeal circuit has a dialyzate circuit with a dialyzer, having a blood-side chamber, and a dialyzate-side chamber separated from the blood-side chamber by a membrane. The blood-side chamber is in fluid communication with the extracorporeal circuit and the dialyzate-side chamber is in fluid communication with the dialyzate circuit, and the apparatus has a preparation unit for online preparation of a solution. The apparatus has a first means for carrying out a priming mode and a second means for carrying out an initial treatment mode. The first means is configured to control the preparation unit to prepare a flushing solution having a pH of ≥7.3, with the extracorporeal circuit being filled with the flushing solution. The second means is configured to control the preparation unit to prepare the dialyzate having a pH of ≥7.3, with the dialyzate circuit being filled with the dialyzate.

摘要: A hemodialysis apparatus comprising diaphragm pumps for the movement of both dialysate and blood, and under the control of a controller, is capable of detecting blood flow conditions that give rise to an alarm and implement procedures to adjust, pause, or halt the pumping of dialysate and/or blood. The controller can direct the application of a time-varying pressure to fluid in the control chamber of a blood pump, and monitor the resulting pressure waveform during a fill stroke of the blood pump. A deviation of the measured pressure variation from an expected value can give rise to an alert to a user and to the initiation of an adjustment, pause, or cessation of the dialysate pump's activity.

The blood pump is configured to pump blood to a dialyzer of a hemodialysis apparatus and comprises a pneumatically actuated or controlled reciprocating diaphragm pump. The diaphragm of the pump comprises a flexible membrane formed or molded to conform to a curved inner wall of a pumping chamber or control chamber of the pump, and the diaphragm is pre-formed or molded to have a control side taking a convex shape, so that any elastic tension on the diaphragm is minimized when fully extended into a control chamber of the pump.

摘要: Some embodiments may include a water supply system for supplying water based on a predetermined planned daily supply amount of water. While the worries supplied, it may be determined whether a second time has reached after a predetermined time passed from a first time. When it is determined that the second time has reached, an accumulated amount of the supplied water may be measured. A difference between the measured accumulated amount of the supplied water and the planned daily supply amount of water may be calculated. The planned daily supply amount of water may be corrected by adding the calculated difference to the planned daily supply amount of water after the second time. Water may be supplied based on the corrected planned daily supply amount of water.
