Abstract: A redundancy system for a distributed antenna system is provided. The system includes a first communication link, a second communication link, a first communication node and a second communication node. The first communication link traverses first path. The second communication link traverses a second path. The second path is spatially separated from the first path. The first communication node is communicatively coupled to transmit the same signal through both the first communication link and the second communication link. The second communication node has a receiver system that is communicatively coupled to receive the signals transmitted through the first and second communication links. The receiver system is configured to synchronize delay and phase differences between the received signals and then combine the signals together to generate a single output.

Abstract: Multi-RET actuators include a plurality of shafts that have respective axially-drivable members mounted thereon. Each of axially-drivable member is mechanically linked to a respective one of a plurality of phase shifters. The multi-RET actuator further includes a motor having a drive shaft and a gear system that is configured to selectively couple the motor to the respective shafts. The gear system is configured so that rotation of the drive shaft in a first direction creates a mechanical linkage between the motor and a first of the shafts, and rotation of the drive shaft in a second direction that is opposite the first direction rotates the first of the shafts.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes strand mounts for small cell radios. A strand mount may include a top plate, a bottom plate, and opposing side plates that form a housing having an interior cavity dimensioned to fit around one or more small cell radios, a plurality of mounting members, each mounting member coupled to the top and bottom plates within the interior cavity and configured such that a small cell radio can be mounted thereto, and one or more mounting brackets. Abstract: A system includes a plurality of remote units; a centralized unit communicatively coupled to the plurality of remote units via a fronthaul network; and an entity that performs deep packet inspection. The centralized unit transmits sets of data to the plurality of remote units across the fronthaul network in packets, each of the sets of data mapped to at least one of the plurality of remote units and each of the packets including a respective indicator indicating each remote unit the associated packet is intended for, wherein each indicator comprises a plurality of bit positions where each bit position is mapped to a different one of the plurality of remote units. The entity performs the deep packet inspection on the packets to determine each remote unit the packets are intended for and communicate each packet to each remote unit the packet is intended for over the fronthaul network.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a coaxial connector assembly comprising a first connector and a second connector adapted to be connected with each other, and a locking mechanism adapted to lock and unlock a connection between the first connector and the second connector. The locking mechanism includes a first locking member having at least one elastic snap-fit element and a second locking member having a locking element adapted to be snap-fitly engaged with the at least one elastic snap-fit element. The first locking member is disposed on an outer periphery of the first connector, and the second locking member is disposed on an outer periphery of the second connector. The elastic snap-fit element is constructed as a cantilever that extends axially toward a direction remote from the second connector, so that it is movable between an unlocking position and a locking position along a radial direction. In the unlocking position, the elastic snap-fit element is pressed down, so that the elastic snap-fit element is disengaged from the locking element, and in the locking position, the elastic snap-fit element springs back to its initial state, so that the elastic snap-fit element is snap-fitly engaged with the lock element.

Abstract: A bladed chassis system facilitates installation of the bladed chassis system and replacement of the blades at the chassis. Blades can be inserted and removed from the front and/or the rear of the bladed chassis system at the discretion of the user. Blades can be moved between discrete positions. In examples, blades can be one-handedly released from the chassis to allow movement between discrete positions. In examples, accidental movement past a discrete position is inhibited. Accidental removal of the blades from the chassis is inhibited. The chassis and blades cooperate to manage the optical fiber cables routed through a cable port in the chassis to the blades.
