    Abstract: The present invention is directed to a heterophasic polypropylene composition of high transparency based on excellent compatibility of the propylene 1-hexene random copolymer used as matrix with different types of external modifiers dispersed within the matrix. The present invention is further directed to a process for producing such a polypropylene composition and to a film, in particular a cast film, obtained from such a polypropylene composition. The polypropylene composition comprising a blend of a propylene copolymer comprising 2.5 to 12.0 wt % of 1-hexene as a comonomer, and having a melt flow rate MFR2 of 0.1 to 100 g/10 min, and an ethylene homo- or copolymer having a melt flow rate MFR2 of 0.05 to 30.0 g/10 min and a density of 850 to 920 kg/m3, wherein the melt flow rate MFR2 of the polypropylene composition is from 1.0 to 12.0 g/10 min.
