Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and a device for performing group communication based on a proximity service (ProSe) in a wireless communication system. More specifically, the method comprises the steps of: enabling a relay terminal (relay user equipment, relay UE, ProSe UE-to-Network relay) to register group communication in a network node; and enabling the relay terminal to perform the group communication with the network node, wherein the group communication is configured to transmit a downlink signal using a multimedia broadcast and multimedia service (MBMS) if the number of terminals, except for a relayed terminal (relayed user equipment, relayed UE) among a plurality of terminals registered in the network node, is not less than a reference value.
Abstract:
The present application provides a method for enabling a UE (User Equipment) detecting a proximity service to adjust the detection range. The method for adjusting the detection range includes the steps of: enabling the detecting UE having joined in the same group of the proximity service to compare the number of the UEs requiring a relay with a predetermined threshold value; enabling the detecting UE to decide whether to expand its detection range if the number of the UEs requiring a relay exceeds the predetermined threshold value; enabling the detecting UE to decide whether to reduce its detection range if the number of the UEs requiring a relay is less than the predetermined threshold value; and enabling the detecting UE to adjust the range class so as to expand or reduce the detection range.
Abstract:
A wireless communication system is disclosed. More particularly, access network selection scheme in visited network in a wireless communication system are disclosed. A method for selecting a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) access network by a user equipment (UE) in a visited network may comprise: determining, by the UE, if a selected WLAN access network in the visited network is available; updating, by the UE, a WLAN selection policy with a list of excluded WLAN access network, if the selected WLAN access network in the visited network is not available; and re-determining, by the UE, if there is an available WLAN access network in the visited network based on the updated WLAN selection policy.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for retransmitting an MTC group message in a wireless communication system are disclosed. A method for performing retransmission of a Machine Type Communication (MTC) group message by an MTC-InterWorking Function (MTC-IWF) in a mobile communication system includes: receiving an MTC group message response from a network node; and determining whether to perform retransmission of the MTC group message on the basis of information contained in the MTC group message response, wherein the MTC group message response includes zero or more region information of a predetermined unit, related to completion of the MTC group message transmission.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for utilizing analytics on power consumption information. A Network Function (NF) supporting a Service Function Chaining (SFC) receives an N4 rule generated by a Session Management Function (SMF) from the SMF. The N4 rule includes information related to change of an SFC path based on power consumption of a UE. The NF supporting the SFC determines an SFC path based on the information related to the change of the SFC path, and communicates with the UE based on the determined SFC path.
Abstract:
Provided are a method and device for obtaining, managing, and verifying user consent for external provision of user analytics. Unified data management (UDM) receives, from a network data analytics function (NWDAF), a first request message for whether consent of a specific user has been received with respect to data request collection for the specific user, which is requested by an application function (AF), and transmitting a first response message including a parameter indicating the presence or absence of user consent to the NWDAF. In this case, the parameter indicates that there is no consent of the specific user. The UDM also receives, from the AF, a second request message including an ID of the specific user, consent acquired from the specific user, and HASH, and updating the parameter indicating the presence or absence of user consent, based on the consent acquired from the specific user.
Abstract:
One disclosure of the present specification may provide an operation method of a session management function (SMF) node for managing a protocol data unit (PDU) session. The method may comprise a step of acquiring analysis information from a network data analytics function (NWDAF) node. The acquired analysis information may include experience analysis information for redundant transmission. The method may comprise a step of determining, on the basis of the analysis information, the PDU session to be redundantly transmitted through two tunnels during a procedure related to the PDU session.
Abstract:
Provided are a method for managing a prohibited PLMN list during disaster roaming, and an apparatus supporting same. User Equipment (UE) determines, when there is no available public land mobile network (PLMN) other than PLMNs included in a first list, whether the PLMNs included in the first list can provide a disaster roaming service, and includes in a second list at least one PLMN that can provide the disaster roaming service, from among the PLMNs included in the first list. On the basis that a disaster condition is applied to a home PLMN (HPLMN), the UE i) performs PLMN selection for the at least one PLMN included in the second list, and ii) selects a disaster roaming PLMN from among the at least one PLMN and receives the disaster roaming service provided from the disaster roaming PLMN.
Abstract:
A disclosure of the present specification provides a method for performing communication related to a network slice by an AMF node. The method may comprise the steps of: receiving a first registration request message from a UE; determining whether the UE can access a first network slice, on the basis of a quota applied to the first network slice; and transmitting a response message to the UE.
Abstract:
Provided are a method for adjusting timer T when disaster roaming occurs, and a device supporting same. When a disaster condition is applied to a home public land mobile network (HPLMN), a user equipment (UE) performs registration with a disaster roaming PLMN. When the registration with the disaster roaming PLMN is performed, a timer for periodically searching for the HPLMN does not operate, and the HPLMN is not searched while the timer does not operate. In addition, the UE re-operates the timer on the basis of the disaster condition no longer being applied to the HPLMN or the UE leaving a disaster area.
