Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine that a quantity of downlink control information (DCI) sizes, for a set of DCIs that the UE is to monitor and that includes a multicast DCI, satisfies a size threshold. The UE may perform a DCI size alignment procedure to adjust a DCI monitoring configuration. The UE may monitor for the set of DCIs based at least in part on performing the DCI size alignment procedure. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify one or more overlaps between a first set of uplink transmissions on one or more master cell groups (MCGs) and a second set of uplink transmissions on one or more secondary cell groups (SCGs), wherein the first set of uplink transmissions are associated with respective first priority levels and the second set of uplink transmissions are associated with respective second priority levels; determine a power sharing configuration for the first set of uplink transmissions and the second set of uplink transmissions; and drop one or more transmissions, of at least one of the first set of uplink transmissions or the second set of uplink transmissions, based at least in part on the respective first priority levels and the respective second priority levels. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may obtain measurements related to a plurality of reference signals received by the UE. In some aspects, each of the plurality of reference signals is associated with a different set of quasi co-location (QCL) properties. The UE may determine a QCL property based at least in part on the measurements related to the plurality of reference signals. The UE may determine, based at least in part on the determined QCL property, a QCL relationship among the plurality of reference signals and a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH). The UE may receive the PDSCH based at least in part on the QCL relationship. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station may receive, from a user equipment (UE), a message that indicates whether the UE received a downlink transmission from the base station in a first frequency range. The base station may schedule one or more reference signal (RS) transmissions in the first frequency range and one or more RS transmissions in a second frequency range based at least in part on the message received from the UE, and reschedule the downlink transmission on a component carrier in either the first frequency range or the second frequency range based at least in part on channel quality information that is determined from the one or more RS transmissions in the first frequency range and the one or more RS transmissions in the second frequency range. Numerous other aspects are provided.

REUSING WAVEFORM TYPES FOR CONTENTION-FREE RANDOM ACCESS PROCEDURES

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques may enable a user equipment (UE) to reuse a same waveform type for both of a first contention-free random access (CFRA) message and an acknowledgement (ACK) message for a random access response (RAR) message from a network entity. The UE may transmit the first CFRA message using a first waveform type and via a first resource with a first resource index, and may retransmit the first waveform type via a second resource with the first resource index in response to receiving the RAR message. In some examples, the UE may not receive the RAR message. In such examples, the UE may not retransmit the waveform. That is, if the network entity does not receive the response to the RAR message, the network entity may interpret the lack of response as a negative acknowledgement (NACK).

RESOURCE ALLOCATION INDICATION IN UNRESTRICTED BANDWIDTH PART

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may determine resource allocation information when operating on an unrestricted bandwidth part (BWP) that is not configured with a control resource set (CORESET) associated with system information (SI) acquisition. For example, the UE may receive first control information indicating a first CORESET associated with SI acquisition. The UE may receive second control information indicating an unrestricted BWP that is configured with a second CORESET that is different than the first CORESET. The unrestricted BWP may have a bandwidth that is equal to, greater than, or less than the bandwidth of the first CORESET. The UE may determine a resource indicator value (RIV) to include in a frequency domain resource allocation (FDRA) field for the unrestricted BWP. The UE may communicate, via the unrestricted BWP, based on the RIV.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration for a bandwidth part (BWP). The BWP may overlap with one or more first frequency resources associated with a cell-defining synchronization signal block (CD-SSB) and one or more second frequency resources associated with a non-cell-defining synchronization signal block (NCD-SSB). The UE may perform a measurement using the NCD-SSB (and not the CD-SSB) during an active state of the BWP. Numerous other aspects are described.
