    Abstract: A base station (BS) may cancel an uplink transmission that was previously scheduled for a user equipment (UE). For example, after scheduling a first UE for an uplink transmission on a particular resource, a BS may elect to schedule a second UE with higher priority traffic on at least a portion of that same resource. In this case, the BS may send an uplink cancelation indication (UL CI) to instruct the first UE to cancel its transmission.     Abstract: Wireless communication devices are adapted to facilitate discovery reference signal transmissions. According to one example, a wireless communication device can schedule a discovery reference signal (DRS) window including a plurality of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) per QCL'd beam, a first coreset, and a second coreset. The wireless communication device may further transmit the generated DRS window. Additional wireless communication devices may receive a wireless transmission including a DRS window with a plurality of SSBs on each of a plurality of QCL'd beams, a first coreset, and a second coreset. At least one SSB and at least the first coreset may be detected, and a PDCCH may be decoded. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also included.

    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to uplink (UL) transmissions with CP extensions. A user equipment (UE) receives, from a base station (BS), one or more grants for a plurality of uplink transmissions in a shared radio frequency band. The UE determines a cyclic prefix (CP) extension length for a first uplink transmission of the plurality of uplink transmissions such that a first gap duration between a second uplink transmission of the plurality of uplink transmissions and the first uplink transmission satisfies a first time threshold for transmitting the first uplink transmission in the shared radio frequency band without a listen-before-talk (LBT), the second uplink transmission preceding the first uplink transmission. The UE transmits, to the BS in the shared radio frequency band, one or more uplink transmissions of the plurality of uplink transmissions, where the first uplink transmission with the first CP extension is transmitted without performing the LBT.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. An encoding device may encode a set of source symbols using one or more raptor codes to generate a first set of encoded symbols and may transmit the first set of encoded symbols to a decoding device. The decoding device may successfully recover a source symbol of the set of source symbols from the first set of encoded symbols and may transmit an indication of the source symbol to the encoding device.     Abstract: A method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) and a base station. The UE receives a configuration for a plurality of semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) occasions each SPS occasion including multiple opportunities for a downlink transmission by a base station. The UE monitors for the downlink transmission during one or more opportunities of an SPS occasion. The base station transmits a packet to the UE in an opportunity of an SPS occasion based on an arrival time of the packet. In various configurations, a base station may transmit first information via a first communication opportunity and second information via a second communication opportunity of that same SPS occasion. A wireless communication device may monitor all communication opportunities of an SPS occasion to decode the information sent in two or more of the communication opportunities of the SPS occasion.

    Abstract: An apparatus, such as a base station, may determine channel conditions associated with at least two carriers on which communication with another apparatus is configured. The apparatus may encode a dataset into a set of protocol data units (PDUs) using fountain coding based on the channel conditions. The apparatus may send a first subset of the set of PDUs to the other apparatus on a first carrier of the at least two carriers. The apparatus may send a second subset of the set of PDUs to the other apparatus on a second carrier of the at least two carriers. Another apparatus, such as a user equipment (UE), may receive the set of PDUs from the apparatus over the at least two carriers, and may decode the set of PDUs to obtain a dataset using fountain coding.
