A self-assembled photonic crystal is formed using a template made by nanoimprint lithography. A layer of imprintable material is deposited on a substrate, a pattern is imprinted in the imprintable material to form a template (the pattern of the template being adapted to substantially constrain colloidal particles to a predetermined lattice), and colloidal particles are introduced onto the template, substantially filling the predetermined lattice.

The specification may disclose a system and related method for control of a server system that may include determining the amount of power delivered in a system utilizing redundant power supplies based on a measurement of the voltage of load share signals between those power supplies, and then allowing additional servers installed in the server system to power-on only if the amount of power required for the combined servers does not exceed the maximum available power or exceed the power required for a certain type of redundant power supply operation.

Systems and methods are disclosed for blocking data responses. One system includes a target node that, in response to a source broadcast request for requested data, provides a response that includes a copy of the requested data. The target node also provides a blocking message to a home node associated with the requested data. The blocking message being operative cause the home node to provide a non-data response to the source broadcast request if the blocking message is matched with the source broadcast request at the home node.
Abstract:
Systems and methods of presenting media objects are described. In one aspect, a group of media objects is selected from the collection based upon media object relevance to one or more data structures of a selected media file of indexed, temporally-ordered data structures. The selected media file and the media objects of the selected group are presented contemporaneously. In another aspect, media objects in the collection are grouped into multiple clusters based upon one or more media object relevance criteria. The media object clusters are arranged into a hierarchy of two or more levels. A selected media object cluster is presented contemporaneously. Systems for implementing these media object presentation methods also are described.

A system is provided that includes a CPU, a graphical user interface coupled to the CPU, and a memory coupled to the CPU. The memory stores a bump map application and a data extraction application executed by the CPU. The bump map application displays a plurality of editable textual character groups representative of a plurality of bumps. The textual character groups are arranged on the graphical user interface according to a relative coordinate position of the bumps with respect to an origin. The data extraction application automatically extracts data from the bump map application for use by a router application.
