    Abstract: An instance segmentation method and apparatus are provided. A to-be-trained segmentation network performs the following processing on each instance group that is in a sample original image and that is of pixels of a marked instance, where each instance group includes at least one marked instance, and the processing includes: predicting at least two different first basic feature maps and a first attention feature map corresponding to each first basic feature map; performing weighted processing on the at least two first basic feature maps and pixel values of respective first attention feature maps corresponding to the at least two first basic feature maps, to obtain a first feature fusion map; and training the to-be-trained segmentation network based on the first feature fusion map and the sample original image. A segmentation model can precisely determine pixels of an instance in an original image.

    Abstract: The present application discloses an image generation method, a neural network compression method, and a related apparatus and device in the field of artificial intelligence. The image generation method includes: inputting a first matrix into an initial image generator to obtain a generated image; inputting the generated image into a preset discriminator to obtain a determining result, where the preset discriminator is obtained through training based on a real image and a category corresponding to the real image; updating the initial image generator based on the determining result to obtain a target image generator; and further inputting a second matrix into the target image generator to obtain a sample image. Further, a neural network compression method is disclosed, to compress the preset discriminator based on the sample image obtained by using the foregoing image generation method.

    Abstract: A versioned dataset is managed. An updated versioned dataset is created by applying a structured query to a specific version of multiple versions of the versioned dataset stored in the backing dataset. Data of the versions including the specific version remain unchanged. A versioned dataset catalogue is updated to include in association with the updated dataset version, the structured query and lineage indicating that the updated versioned dataset includes a successor of the specific version. An affiliation encoding associated with the updated versioned dataset indicating which data of the updated versioned dataset matches data of the specific version and which data of the updated versioned dataset is deleted relative to data of the specific version, is updated. A database view of the updated versioned dataset is generated by selecting rows and projecting columns of the backing dataset corresponding to the updated versioned dataset according to the affiliation encoding.

    Abstract: A lockstep controller operates a lockstep system of three or more CPU-GPU pairs, comparing the outputs from the CPU-GPU pairs and, by way of a majority vote, provides the output for the lockstep system. Based on comparing the outputs, if one of the CPU-GPU pairs provides outputs that disagree with the majority outputs, it can be switched out of the lockstep system. The removed CPU is replaced by a backup CPU. So that the backup CPU can be part of a CPU-GPU pair, a portion of the address space from the GPU of one of the other CPU-GPU pairs is assigned to the backup CPU to operate as a replacement CPU-GPU pair, while the CPU already associated with this GPU retains another portion of the GPU's address space to continue operating as a CPU-GPU pair.

    Abstract: This application discloses a signal transmission method, including: obtaining, by a terminal device, to-be-transmitted data, uplink control information, and a demodulation reference signal; mapping the to-be-transmitted data, the uplink control information, and the demodulation reference signal to generate multiplexed symbols.     Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a communication method and a communication apparatus. The communication method includes: A terminal device performs blind detection on downlink control information (DCI). The terminal device determines a sending slot of a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) and/or a sending slot of a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) based on a target slot and the DCI, where the target slot is one of a plurality of slots that carry the DCI, the plurality of slots are for transmitting one piece of DCI, or each of the plurality of slots is for transmitting the same piece of DCI. In this way, when one piece of DCI is transmitted in the plurality of slots or the same piece of DCI is transmitted in each of the plurality of slots.
