Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for transmitting uplink control information and an apparatus, applicable to a multi-carrier system. A user terminal receives physical layer signaling from a network device, where the physical layer signaling includes first indication information. The user terminal determines, according to the first indication information, a bit quantity of periodic CSI that can be sent on a channel resource or a piece quantity of periodic CSI that can be sent on a channel resource. The user terminal determines, according to the bit quantity or the piece quantity of the periodic CSI that can be sent, to-be-sent periodic CSI from periodic CSI corresponding to multiple downlink carriers. The user terminal sends HARQ-ACK information and the to-be-sent periodic CSI on the channel resource.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a control information sending method and apparatus. A network device generates first control information for a first TB, where the first TB includes n code block (CB) groups, where N is a maximum quantity of CB groups included in the first TB; each CB group includes at least one CB; the first control information includes N control information fields, and the N control information fields are in correspondence with the maximum N CB groups included in the first TB; and a control information field i in the N control information fields is used to indicate whether a CB group corresponding to the control information field i is to be sent or received, and i∈[1, N]. In this way, a quantity of bits included in downlink control information can remain fixed, thereby reducing blind detection complexity of a terminal device.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide methods for sending and receiving feedback information, user equipment, and an access network device, relate to the field of communications technologies. In one embodiment, UE receives, in a downlink subframe in a preconfigured downlink subframe subset, downlink data that is sent by an access network device by using a downlink shared channel and a DAI index indicator and a DAI total quantity indicator that are sent by using a downlink control channel. The UE determines an uplink subframe for sending feedback information corresponding to the downlink shared channel. The UE determines a codebook of the feedback information according to the downlink assignment index DAI index indicator and the DAI total quantity indicator. The UE performs channel coding on the feedback information according to the codebook. The UE sends the channel coded feedback information.

Abstract: In the field of wireless communication technologies, method and apparatus for determining a transport block size (TBS) of a data channel are provided. In a communication network, a terminal device receives control information from a network device. The control information includes modulation indication information and resource information of the data channel. The terminal device determines a modulation order and a code rate according to the modulation indication information, and determines number of time-frequency resources according to the resource indication information of the data channel. The terminal device determines the TBS according to the modulation order, the code rate, and the number of time-frequency resources. Based on the determined TBS, the terminal device decodes the data channel carried on the time-frequency resources or sends the data channel on the time-frequency resources.
