Abstract:
A vehicle and a window assembly include a window movable between a closed and open position. The assembly includes an arm movable between a first and second position. The window is disposed in the closed position when the arm is in the first position and the window disposed in the open position when the arm is in the second position. The arm includes an extension fixed thereto such that the arm and the extension both move concurrently about a first pivot point. The assembly includes a connector coupled to the extension at a second pivot point. The arm is coupled to the window through the connector. The first and second pivot points are spaced from each other. The connector is coupled to the window such that movement of the arm moves the connector about the second pivot point which causes the window to move between the closed and open positions.
Abstract:
A bearing arrangement for a door, in particular for refrigerators or freezers, comprises a bearing pin for rotatably bearing the door, a closing device by means of which the door can be moved over a certain pivoting region in the closing direction through the force of a force accumulator, and a damper for damping a pivoting movement of the door over at least one pivoting region, and the closing device and the damper are oriented in a substantially perpendicular plane with respect to the axis of rotation of the bearing pin, wherein, to move the closing device, a first curved guide which can be moved by the bearing pin is provided and, to move the damper, a second curved guide which can be moved by the bearing pin is provided. As a result, the bearing arrangement can have a particularly compact design, the bearing arrangement being used in particular in a refrigerator or freezer.
Abstract:
A method of opening a mine door leaf installed in a mine passageway having a high pressure zone and a low pressure zone. The method includes the steps of operating a variable-throw crank mechanism in a first configuration having a first crank length to apply a first force to the mine door leaf to move at a first speed, operating the variable-throw crank mechanism in a second configuration having a second crank length less than the first crank length to apply a second force greater than the first force to the mine door leaf to move at a second speed slower than the first speed, and using a resistance pressure associated with the high and low pressure zones in the mine passageway to convert the variable-throw crank mechanism from the first configuration to the second configuration.
Abstract:
An accessory mounting bracket for securing door accessories to a door coordinator. The accessory mounting bracket has stepped portions that define a channel that is sized to receive a door coordinator. A recess is disposed below the channel and provides an offset for fasteners that mount the door coordinator to a door frame and may protrude from the door coordinator. A set of bores are used to attach the accessory mounting bracket to the door coordinator and a soffit of the door, while a second bores, which are threaded, allows for attachment of a door accessory to the accessory mounting bracket. The second bores are formed in the accessory mounting bracket so as to be spaced apart from the door coordinator.
Abstract:
The invention is a device for pivoting a cover, particularly a glass cover, at a sales counter about a horizontally arranged pivoting axis. One or several profiles are provided on which the cover is supported in such a manner that it moves in a pivoting manner indirectly or directly by at least one articulation. At least one gas pressure spring is provided that comprises two ends articulated to the profile, the cover, the articulation, or to another structural component. The gas pressure spring supports at least the first part of the pivoting movement of the cover up to the dead point. At the dead point the center of gravity of the cover stands vertically above its pivoting axis. Both ends of the gas pressure spring are movably supported and during the further pivoting of the cover beyond the dead point, the force-supporting action of the gas pressure spring is off.
Abstract:
A device for sliding door leaves with co-planar closure, particularly for furniture and the like, including a bracket system for connection to each one of the door leaves and with which a first pair of wheels is associated in a lower region. The device includes a second pair of wheels which are, together with the first pair of wheels, slideably engaged with the head respectively of a first guide and of a second guide which are T-shaped in cross-section, arc-shaped in plan view and the stem of which protrudes from the top of the piece of furniture.
Abstract:
A piece of furniture has an actuating arrangement for a flap of the piece of furniture. An actuating arm arrangement includes a lever arrangement for moving the flap and a main spring that acts in the closing direction (SR) to hold the flap closed. The piece of furniture also has an ejecting device for ejecting the flap in the opening direction (OR) by overpressing the flap in the closing direction (SR). At least one support spring acts in the opening direction (OR) and is separate from the ejecting device, and supports the ejecting motion of the ejecting device. At least in an overpressed closed position (US), the spring forces (A, U) are together greater than the closing force (Z) which acts on the flap and which is provided by the main spring acting in the closing direction (SR).

Abstract:
A mine door system comprising at least one mine door leaf hinged at one side thereof to a door frame defining an entry. The system includes an articulated door-moving mechanism that articulates between a first configuration in which the mechanism applies a relatively small door-moving force to the door leaf to move the door leaf at a first speed and a second configuration in which the mechanism applies a larger door-moving force to the door leaf to move the door leaf at a second speed less than the first speed. A related method is also disclosed.
