Abstract:
An appliance includes a hinge module between a main body and a pull-down door. The hinge module includes a housing, a rotational axis member disposed in the housing serving as a center of rotation between the pull-down door and the main body, an inner link housing movably disposed in the housing that moves with the opening of the pull-down door in a direction of the rotational axis member, and a damper installed in the inner link housing, the damper including a piston and a cylinder and providing damping force according to a relative movement of the piston and the cylinder. Any one of the piston and the cylinder of the damper moves with the inner link housing and the other of the piston and the cylinder of the damper moves by a predetermined distance as the inner link housing moves and then is interfered by the housing so as not to move further, and the piston and the cylinder of the damper starts damping, wherein the predetermined distance corresponds to an opening angle of the pull-down door in which the damping is started.

Abstract:
A counterbalance mechanism includes a first attachment strap that is fixedly attached to a body structure. An intermediate link is rotatably attached to the first attachment strap and rotatable about a winding axis relative to the first attachment strap. A first end of a second attachment strap is rotatably attached to a moveable panel. A second end of the second attachment strap is rotatably attached to the intermediate link, with the second attachment strap and the intermediate link rotatable relative to each other about a link axis. A spiral spring interconnects the first attachment strap and the intermediate link. The spiral spring biases the intermediate link about the winding axis to rotate the intermediate link and the second attachment strap relative to each other about the link axis, in a scissor-like motion, to rotate the panel relative to the body structure.
Abstract:
A piece of furniture has an actuating arrangement for a flap of the piece of furniture. An actuating arm arrangement includes a lever arrangement for moving the flap and a main spring that acts in the closing direction (SR) to hold the flap closed. The piece of furniture also has an ejecting device for ejecting the flap in the opening direction (OR) by overpressing the flap in the closing direction (SR). At least one support spring acts in the opening direction (OR) and is separate from the ejecting device, and supports the ejecting motion of the ejecting device. At least in an overpressed closed position (US), the spring forces (A, U) are together greater than the closing force (Z) which acts on the flap and which is provided by the main spring acting in the closing direction (SR).
Abstract:
A hinge for a closing door of a compartment, of the type having a first and a second body, respectively integral to the door and to the frame of the corresponding compartment, or vice versa, and mutually hinged by at least one pin, first elastic means mounted on the second body and acting upon the first body, and at least one dampening device fixed to the second body, acting upon the first body and actuated by at least a first slider, functionally connected to the dampener, and by at least a second slider, configured for engaging, directly or indirectly, the aforesaid first body in correspondence of at least a certain angular range assumed by the first body with respect to the second body during their relative rotation, whereby the second slider is actuated in translation by the first body when engaged therewith, as well as constraining means between the first slider and the second slider. Advantagiously, the aforesaid constraining means include at least a lever pivoted to the second body, and the aforesaid first and second slider are constrained at least in rotation to one lever.
Abstract:
An appliance hinge assembly includes: a support member configured to be secured to an appliance; a claw pivotally coupled to the support member; and a lock member pivotally coupled to the claw, wherein the claw and the lock member can be coupled together to create a bounded space therebetween.
Abstract:
A knuckle arm is connected to a machine body and a top cover of a machine, and includes a mounting seat, a connecting seat, a sliding seat, and a resilient member. The mounting seat includes a mounting block disposed fixedly on the machine body, and a pivot block extending integrally from the mounting block and having a cam edge. The connecting seat is connected pivotally to the pivot block of the mounting seat, and is attached to the top cover. The sliding seat is disposed slidably within the connecting seat, and has an integral projection. The resilient member is disposed between the mounting seat and the sliding seat, and biases the sliding seat to move toward the mounting seat so as to keep the projection of the sliding seat in contact with the cam edge of the mounting seat.
Abstract:
A gooseneck hinge assembly for a closure of a vehicle includes a body side strap adapted to be connected to a vehicle body of the vehicle and a closure side strap having a gooseneck shape adapted to be connected to a closure for closing an aperture in the vehicle body. The gooseneck hinge assembly also includes a pivot pin to pivotally connect the closure side strap to the body side strap to allow rotational movement therebetween. The gooseneck hinge assembly further includes a spring interconnecting the body side strap and the closure side strap to counterbalance a weight of the closure when opening and closing the aperture.
