Abstract:
A poly axial hinge comprising a mounting plate, a first arm pivotally coupled to a panel mounting element, a second arm pivotally coupled in an scissoring manner with the first arm by a main pivot, and a third arm pivotally coupled to the second arm at a location part way between a first end of said second arm and the main pivot. The mounting plate includes at least one rigidly fixed first gear, and the third arm includes gear teeth directly or indirectly coupled together with the fixed gear, such that rotation of the second arm with respect to said mounting plate causes rotation of the first arm with respect to the second arm, thereby driving the poly axle hinge open and/or closed.

Abstract:
Provided herein is a door opening and closing apparatus capable of reducing torque of a motor required for removing an adhesive force between a door and a housing. The door opening and closing apparatus includes a motor configured to output power for opening and closing a door, a power transmission apparatus configured to transmit the power of the motor to a hinge by rotation of a plurality of driving gears, and an auxiliary apparatus configured to generate an auxiliary force for moving the door at a closing position toward an opening position, where the auxiliary force is generated at the auxiliary apparatus by the power of the motor before the power of the motor is transmitted to the hinge through the power transmission apparatus.
Abstract:
A door operator system capable of detecting a current-time position of a movable barrier comprises a current-time position detecting device comprising a first gear, a first angular position sensing unit, a revolution counting unit and an arithmetic unit. The first gear is coupled to an output shaft of a motor or a winding shaft. The first angular position sensing unit is provided for detecting a first angular position of the first gear. The revolution counting unit counts the number of revolutions of the first gear. The arithmetic unit calculates a number of total circumferential intervals of the output shaft of the motor or the winding shaft based on D=(La*X)+A/(360/X), where D is the number of the total circumferential intervals, La is the number of revolutions of the first gear, A is the first angular position, X is a number of circumferential intervals per revolution of the first gear.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a furniture drive (4) for ejecting a moveable furniture part (3) from a closed end position relative to the body of the item of furniture (2), comprising; a housing (9), an electric drive unit (10) which is arranged in or on the housing (9), an ejection lever (12) which can be driven by the electric drive unit (10) for transferring a movement to the moveable furniture part (3). The ejection lever (12) is mounted so that it can rotate about a rotational axis (11) on one side and comprises a free lever end (13) on the other side. Said ejection lever (12) comprises an ejection surface (14) between the rotational axis (11) and the free lever end (13). Said ejection surface (14) of the ejection lever (12) comprises, at least in sections, a toothing (15).
Abstract:
A device for opening and closing a movable window of a motor vehicle, the movable window being movable relative to a fixed panel, from a closed position in which the movable window is positioned flush with the fixed panel, to an open position in which the movable window is moved parallel to the fixed panel. The device includes an assembly controlled from a handle mechanism supported by an edge of a frame secured to the movable window, such that starting from the closed position, actuating the handle a first time releases locking of the movable window then, secondly, brings the movable window out of its closed position, an edge of the window corresponding to the edge of the frame being moved relative to the fixed panel, to the position allowing sliding of the movable window.
Abstract:
A powered garage door opener is provided for operating a garage door between an open and closed position. The powered garage door opener comprises a main housing mounted adjacent the garage door. An electric motor and gear train assembly is mounted within the main housing and coupled to the garage door to drive the garage door between the open and closed positions. A power supply is mounted within the main housing and electrically connected to the electric motor and gear train assembly. A control module is mounted within the main housing and electrically connected to the power supply and the electric motor and gear train assembly for controlling selective actuation of the electric motor and gear train assembly. The electric motor and gear train assembly includes a secondary housing, an electric motor sealed within the secondary housing, a worm gear coupled to and driven by the electric motor, a spur gear in meshed engagement with the worm gear, and a driven shaft mounted to the spur gear and coupled to garage door. The electric motor provides electrical power to drive the worm and spur gears, rotating the driven shaft, to provide power actuation of the garage door and the gear relationship between the worm gear and spur gear allows the spur gear to back drive the worm gear and provide manual actuation of the garage door.
