Abstract: A system for monitoring 3D space in front of an output unit for the control of the output unit comprises a 3D imaging unit, a processing and control unit coupled to the 3D imaging unit and an output unit comprising a display area and coupled to the processing and control unit. The 3D imaging unit is configured to monitor an interaction zone in front of the display area of the output unit. The processing and control unit is configured to predict where a finger of a hand that approaches the display area of the output unit and is monitored by the 3D imaging unit will touch the display area and to control the output unit to modify content displayed on the display area based on the predicted touch position.

Abstract: A mounting-bracket configured to attach to a mounting-surface includes a base and sides, a retainer, an electrical-assembly, and a blocking-device. The mounting-surface defines a mounting-hole. The base and sides define a cavity. The base includes a retention-device that extends through the mounting-hole. The retention-device has an inner-surface and an outer-surface. The inner-surface defines an aperture and the outer-surface includes locking-tabs. The retainer is received within the aperture of the retention-device. The retainer has an end and walls generally perpendicular to the end. The walls are in direct contact with the inner-surface and prevent an inward-flexure of the locking-tabs. The electrical-assembly has a lower-surface that is received within the cavity. The blocking-device is in direct contact with the lower-surface of the electrical-assembly and the end of the retainer, thereby preventing a removal of the retainer from the aperture when the electrical-assembly is received within the cavity.

Abstract: A connector assembly including a first connector having a primary locking lever pivotably mounted to the first connector. The primary locking lever defines a pair of beams extending to a primary latch. The primary latch defines a ridge along a rearward edge providing a secondary striker. The second connector includes a primary striker that with the primary latch locks the first and second connectors together. The assembly further includes a CPA device slideably mounted to the first connector and a CPA lever defining a secondary latch. The secondary latch engages the lateral ridge to inhibit movement of the CPA device from an initial position to a final position until after the first and second connectors are fully mated. The secondary latch of the CPA device engages the secondary striker when the CPA device is moved to the final position, thereby preventing disengagement of the primary latch from the primary striker.

Abstract: A connector body configured to interconnect with a corresponding mating connector body includes a pair of longitudinal struts that extend from the connector body and are oriented substantially parallel to a mating axis of the connector body. The longitudinal struts each define an enclosed lateral slot having a closed end and a connector position assurance (CPA) device that is interlocked within the lateral slots and moveable from an initial position to a final position along the mating axis after the connector body is coupled to the corresponding mating connector body. The CPA device has a lateral cross bar extending into each of the lateral slots thereby retaining the cross bar in the lateral slots. Abstract: A cold-test system for testing a camera at a cold temperature includes a test-chamber with a window, a nozzle, and a recirculator. The window is installed in the test-chamber so the camera is provided with a view of a test-target outside of the test-chamber. The nozzle is located proximate to a first edge of the window. The nozzle is configured to direct air from an air-source in a first direction and adjacent to an outside-surface of the window. The recirculator is located proximate to a second edge of the window opposite the first edge. The recirculator is configured to receive the air moving in the first direction and re-direct that air in a second direction opposite the first direction and adjacent to the air moving in the first direction opposite the window. The nozzle and the recirculator cooperate to form a bi-directional air-curtain proximate to the outside-surface.

Abstract: A camshaft phaser includes an input member an output member defining an advance chamber and a retard chamber; a valve spool having a valve spool bore; a first recirculation check valve and a second recirculation check valve disposed within the valve spool bore; and a biasing member which biases the first recirculation check valve and the second recirculation check valve away from each other. The first recirculation check valve allows oil to pass from the advance chamber to the retard chamber and prevents oil from passing from the retard chamber to the advance chamber when the valve spool is in a retard position. The second recirculation check valve allows oil to pass from the retard chamber to the advance chamber and prevents oil from passing from the advance chamber to the retard chamber when the valve spool is in an advance position.

Abstract: A radar system suitable for use on a vehicle and configured to detect a false radar-track arising from a reflection of a radar return from a target includes a first sensor, a second sensor, and a controller. The first sensor outputs a first signal indicative of a first target in a first area proximate to a vehicle. The second sensor outputs a second signal indicative of a second target in a second area proximate to the vehicle and different from the first area. The controller receives the first signal and the second signal. The controller determines that the second target is a reflection of the first target when a reflection-line that bisects and extends orthogonally from a line-segment extending between the first target and the second target intersects with a reflection surface detected by the second sensor.
