    Abstract: An electronic device may comprise a chassis and an ejection mechanism coupled to the chassis. The chassis can house an electronic component and can be removably received within a system chassis of an electronic system. The ejection mechanism may be reversibly configurable between a first state and a second state. When the chassis is in an installed position in the system chassis and in the first state, actuation of an actuatable portion of the ejection mechanism from a first position to a second position moves the chassis from the installed position into an ejected position relative to the system chassis. But when the chassis is in the installed position in the system chassis and in the second state, actuation of the actuatable portion of the ejection mechanism from the first position to the second position does not move the device into the ejected position relative to the system chassis.

    Abstract: A heat dissipation apparatus is disclosed. In the dissipation apparatus, a support is mounted to a circuit board, and an assembly opening on a bearing portion in the support is configured to accommodate a heat source on the circuit board. A heat sink is disposed on the bearing portion of the support, and a heat conducting surface of the heat sink can penetrate the assembly opening, to be attached to the heat conducting surface of the heat source. A peak-valley structure in an elastic component is disposed on a mounting surface of the heat sink as a force-applying portion, and two ends of the elastic component exceed an edge of the heat sink and are mounted to the support as mounting portions. At least one elastic component can provide, to the heat sink by using the peak-valley structure, pressure to tightly attach the heat sink to the heat source.

    Abstract: Examples described herein relate to a securing sub-system. The securing sub-system includes a lever and a cam assembly engaged with the lever. The cam assembly is movable due to a pivotal movement of the lever and includes a cam body, a cantilevered arm, and a load support member. The cantilevered arm extends from the cam body and is deformable when the cantilevered arm contacts a restrictive structure. The load support member disposed on the insertion cam.
