摘要: An apparatus for preventing a bill from being pulled out. The apparatus includes a hang preventing mechanism which has a tongue for preventing a bill from hanging from a bill accumulating box into a bill passage. The bill is conveyed through the bill passage to the bill accumulating box. The hang preventing mechanism is pivotally supported and is spring biased by a biasing mechanism for holding the tongue to prevent a bill, received in the bill accumulating box, from hanging from the bill accumulating box while the tongue is allowed to turn by a bill which passes through the bill passage for entering the bill accumulating box.

摘要: An apparatus for discriminating the authenticity of a bill put into an automatic vending machine, etc. on the basis of a degree of brilliance of a surface of the bill, comprises two photodiodes for receiving light irradiated from a light-emitting diode and reflected by the bill, and a polaroid filter disposed in front of one of the photodiodes. A differential amplifier or a divider is supplied with output currents from the photodiodes, respectively representing an amount of the reflected light received not through the polaroid filter and containing a polarized component which is produced when the light is reflected on the surface of the bill, and an amount of the reflected light, received through the filter and containing no polarized component, and generates an output voltage indicative of the difference between or the ratio of the output currents, which voltage is compared with a corresponding reference voltage in a comparator whose output assumes a Low-level for a lusterless authentic bill, and a High-level for a brilliant counterfeit bill obtained by color-copying the authentic bill, whereby the authenticity of the bill is accurately discriminated.

摘要: A money discriminating apparatus comprising a bill transporting path defined between a pair of spaced, but opposed wall surfaces. A coin transporting path is defined by a groove formed in at least one of the wall surfaces. The groove has a width slightly larger than a diameter of a largest one of coins to be transported and a depth slightly larger than a thickness of a thickest one of the coins. Inlet and outlet of coin transporting path open respectively to inlet and outlet of the bill transporting path. A transporting system transports bill and coin along their respective paths. A discriminating unit discriminates authenticity and kind of bill and coin in course of being transported along their respective paths. Preferably, the transporting system comprises a pair of transporting belts and mating surfaces arranged in facing relation respectively to running surfaces of the respective belts. The running surfaces of the respective belts cooperate respectively with the mating surfaces to transport money while clamping the money therebetween.

摘要: A coin processing device includes a coin identification mechanism, a coin distribution mechanism, a plurality of coin tubes, and a coin delivery mechanism that delivers coins housed in the coin tubes by delivering operation of pulling out the coins using a payout slide. For a specific denomination, a two-coin delivering coin tube and one-coin delivering coin tubes are provided. Location information configured of variables indicating records of payment, distribution, and delivery is used to determine the coin tube when the coin distribution mechanism distributes coins of the specific denomination and to determine the coin tube when the coin delivery mechanism delivers the coins of the specific denomination. The coin processing device can increase speed in a process of delivering coins.

摘要: A coin processing device includes a coin discriminating unit, a coin distributing unit, plural coin tubes, and a coin delivering unit that delivers coins that have been housed in the coin tubes, by delivering operation of pulling out by a payout slide. For specific denominations, a two-coin delivering coin tube and one-coin delivering coin tubes are provided. In a normal state, the coin distributing unit distributes coins that have been inserted, to at least one of the coin tubes, the at least one having the coin housing number smaller, and the coin delivering unit delivers the coins to minimize the number of times of the delivering operation. In a change-shortage state, the coin distributing unit preferentially distributes the coins that have been inserted, to the one-coin delivering coin tubes, and the coin delivering unit performs delivery from only the two-coin delivering coin tube as much as possible.
