摘要： To provide a coin handling apparatus not requiring a wide work area with easy maintenance. In view of the above, a first door is arranged on a surface on one side of a coin handling apparatus and a second door is arranged in the first door. The first door forms dispensing paths for coins discharged from coin hoppers housed in the coin handling apparatus with the second door, and is a partition plate separating a space for housing the coin hoppers from the dispensing paths for coins. In the coin handling apparatus, maintenance of the dispensing paths can be performed by opening the second door, and maintenance of the coin hoppers can be performed by opening the first door.

摘要： A coin processing apparatus houses received coins for each denomination of the coins and dispenses the housed coins in accordance with a coin output instruction. The coin processing apparatus includes: a conveyance unit that conveys the coins that are received and stored in an input section upwards one by one along a predetermined conveyance path, allows authenticity and a denomination of each coin to be checked by a checking section while the coin is conveyed, sorts the coins checked to be true coins by denomination, and dispenses the coin checked to be a false coin; and a coin output suspending unit that receives the coin dispensed from the conveyance unit, outputs the received coin from a dispensing outlet when a coin output command is given, and feeds the received coin to the input section when a feeding command is given.

In one embodiment, a coin bowl structure includes a rotatable disk configured to support a plurality of randomly oriented coins deposited thereon. In operation, rotation of the disk in a first direction can automatically drive a first portion of the coins deposited thereon out of the bowl structure through a first coin passage, and rotation of the disk in a second direction opposite to the first direction can automatically drive a second portion of the coins deposited thereon out of the bowl structure through a second coin passage different than the first coin passage.
