    摘要: In a mechanical hand amusement device there is provided a handle with a movable grip member joined to an elongated arm, and a hand member having a fixed thumb and four flexible finger members joined to a shaft housed within and capable of moving along the length of the elongated arm. A spring, one end of which is connected to the arm, and the other end of which is connected to the shaft, holds the shaft in tensioned relationship with the arm to induce sliding of the shaft along the arm when a release mechanism is activated. In addition, the grip member and the hand member are connected by a continuous string which further winds through two pulleys. One pulley is connected to the arm through a slit in the shaft, and the other pulley is connected to the shaft. When the release button is pushed, the shaft extends from the arm and the length of string between the respective pulleys is decreased but the length of string between the pulleys and the ends of the device is increased. Again, the grip member may be squeezed in this extended position to activate the flexible hand. Thus, with the shaft in either the non-extended or extended position, the grip member is capable of operating the hand member.

    摘要: A toy vehicle has a body, and attached to the body is a chassis which is movably mounted thereon so as to move vertically up and down relative to the chassis. A motor is located within the vehicle and aside from propelling the vehicle forward over a support surface, the motor additionally drives a mechanism which raises and lowers the body relative to the chassis. When the body is raised relative to the chassis, the vehicle is propelled forward over the support surface by the motor; however when the body is lowered to the chassis, the drive connection between the driving wheel of the vehicle and the support surface is severed, inhibiting forward progress of the vehicle. The vehicle performs the above noted functions in a cyclic manner, repeating one after the other.

    摘要: A toy has a first member which includes a rotating mechanism at least a portion of which is capable of rotating with respect to the first member about an axis of rotation. A second member is capable of being associated with the first member and being rotated with respect to the first member between a first position wherein the second member is stable with respect to the first member and is supported by the first member and a second position wherein the second member is destabilized with respect to the first member and is capable of becoming disassociated from the first member. A coupling mechanism detachably couples the second member to the rotating portion of the rotating mechanism so as to transfer rotary movement of the rotating portion of the rotation mechanism to the second member to rotate the second member with respect to the first member between the first and second positions. The second member and preferredly a plurality of other members are stacked on the first member and when the second member is caused to rotate with respect to the first member it and the plurality of other members become dislodged from the first member.

    摘要: A pinball game is contained within a housing which includes a liquid filled chamber. At least one ball is located within the liquid within the chamber. The ball has a specific gravity heavier than the liquid such that it tends to sink within the liquid but it is light enough to be conveyed upwardly by currents within the liquid. A flipper is located within the chamber and is capable of interacting with the ball to propel it within the confines of the chamber. The flipper is controlled by an actuator member located on the housing and operatively connected to the flipper to move the flipper. At least one goal receptacle is positioned within the chamber and the ball is capable of being located or deposited in the goal receptacle. It is the object to deposit the ball in the goal receptacle by manipulating the ball with the flippers and/or currents of liquid.

    摘要: A game of the type having a playing surface enclosed in a housing and including a launching mechanism for propelling an object across the playing surface is improved by locating a target on the playing surface distal from the object launcher and interspacing between the target and the object launcher an interference member. The game includes an actuation device which continually moves the interference member reciprocally back and forth in the path of the object. The interference member is capable of assuming at least one position wherein it can interfere with the movement of the object and at least one position wherein it does not interfere with movement of the object rendering it possible for the object to travel from the object launcher to the target.The interference member includes a first sliding member having a plurality of projections which move through channels in the playing surface as the first sliding member slides in the housing. The actuation device includes a second sliding member which is biased by a spring from an energized position to a rest position and transfers its movement via gears and a rack and pinion to the first sliding member. The second sliding member is activated by moving a knob attached to it. At least a portion of the target is capable of being moved by the object when struck by the object. The target is further associated with an indicator wheel which tallies the number of times the movable portion of the target has been moved by being struck by the object.
