    Abstract: To perform a prognostic health analysis for an asset, a plurality of independent stochastic simulations are performed using transition probabilities of a discrete Markov Chain model. A prognostic asset health state evolution is computed over a time horizon from the plurality of independent stochastic simulations. An output is generated based on the computed prognostic asset health state evolution.

    Abstract: A transformer includes an outer cabinet and an inner tank. The outer cabinet includes a base configured to be installed below ground level, a housing wall configured to be installed at least partially below ground level, and a sill coupled to the housing wall and configured to be installed above ground level. The sill includes a top access opening between an interior space of the outer cabinet and an exterior of the outer cabinet. The inner tank is disposed on the base at least partially below ground level and includes an active part including a transformer circuit. The inner tank includes a plurality of terminals electrically coupled to the active part, each terminal extending from the inner tank into the interior space of the outer cabinet along a respective terminal axis that passes through the top access opening at a respective upward angle with respect to ground level.

    Abstract: An electrical bushing having an anti-rotation mounting flange for preventing rotation of a body element of the electrical bushing is provided. The electrical bushing includes a mounting flange, at least one locking element and a body element having a circumferential protrusion. At least one first recess is formed in the circumferential protrusion, and the at least one locking element is configured to engage with the at least one first recess and with the mounting flange for restricting relative rotation of the body element relative to the mounting flange about a longitudinal axis R. A further aspect provides an electrical transformer including at least one electrical bushing according to the above. A yet further aspect provides a method for mounting the electrical bushing according to the above.

    Abstract: Techniques for identifying faulty sections in power transmission lines are described. A first positive sequence voltage and first positive sequence current at a first terminal of a power transmission line are computed based on a first voltage and first current at the first terminal. A second positive sequence voltage and second positive sequence current at a second terminal are computed based on a second voltage and second current. Based on the first positive sequence voltage and the first positive sequence current, a first junction voltage and first junction current from the first terminal at a junction are computed. Based on the second positive sequence voltage and the second positive sequence current, a second junction voltage and second junction current from the second terminal are computed. A ratio of a junction voltage parameter to a junction current parameter is computed. Using the ratio, the faulty section is identified.

    Abstract: A method performed by a control system of a power electronics converter. A first part of a grid-side current controller runs a first feedback control algorithm having a first control cycle time and includes at least proportional control using a proportional gain. A third part of the controller runs a third feedback control algorithm having the first control cycle time and acting on an output from the first control algorithm after SOA limits have been applied and includes counteracting the proportional control of the first feedback control algorithm. A second part of the controller runs a second feedback control algorithm having a second control cycle time, less than the first control cycle time, and acting on an output from the third control algorithm with the same polarity as the first control algorithm and includes proportional control using the proportional gain.

    Abstract: An aspect of the present disclosure provides a shield 300 for a terminal 206 of a high-voltage electrical device 200 comprising a first shield element 301 having at least one axial opening 304 and at least one lateral opening 305, and at least one second shield element 302, 303, wherein the at least one second shield element 302, 303 is movable between a first shield position and a second shield position for selectively opening and closing at least one of the at least one axial opening 304 and the at least one first lateral opening 305. Further aspects provide a high-voltage electrical bushing 200 comprising a shield 300 according to the aspect above, and a transformer 100 comprising said high-voltage electrical bushing 200. Yet a further aspect provides a method 400 for installing a high-voltage bushing having a shield according to the aspect above.
