摘要： This application covers a water control valve for the water tank of a toilet bowl. The housing encloses a vertically movable plunger and an open-ended chamber into which water is admitted for filling the tank, together with mechanism for controlling the vertical or axial movement of the plunger. The housing includes two unitary molded sections - a body section and a cap section which can be joined together in assembling the valve structure, or they may be separated from each other. The body section has a plurality of peripherally arranged inverted L-shaped sections which are equally spaced from each other, while the cap section embodies a corresponding plurality of bayonet members. When the body and cap sections are to be interconnected to form the composite housing, the bayonet members are positioned between the corresponding L-shaped members and one of the sections is physically given a rotary twist or shift to complete the interconnection.

摘要： An improved molding process for molding complex surfaces is provided comprising charging a mold cavity with a thermosetting, polymerizable resin, subjecting said resin to pressure and temperature sufficient to mold said resin in conformity with said mold cavity and to partially cure said resin to form a dimensionally stable, partially cured article having compels surfaces, removing at least a portion of the flashing from said molded article, placing discrete masses of a thermosetting, polymerizable resin upon said complex surfaces so that upon application of pressure said resin flows, forming a liquid resin wave front which drives gases and vapors from said mold cavity as said wave front advances with increasing pressure.

SINCE THE SUBCARRIER SHOULD ONLY BE FREQUENCY-MODULATED BY A REFERENCE SIGNAL, AND AM COMPOUNDS APPEARINGS ON THE SUBCARRIER ARE UNDESIRABLE. THE PASS BAND OF THE AUXILIARY FILTER IS WIDER THAN THAT OF THE 9.96 KHZ FILTER EMPLOYED IN THE BEARING INDICATION CIRCUIT. THE DETECTED AM IS PASSED THROUGH A LOW PASS FILTER HAVING A CUT-OFF ABOVE THE FREQUENCY OF THE UNDESIRED AM COMPONENTS, AND THE LOW PASS FILTER OUTPUT SIGNAL IS EMPLOYED AS THE PRIMARY AGC SSIGNAL TO CONTROL THE GAIN OF THE RECIEVER IF AMPLIFIER IN PHASE OPPOSITION TO THE AM ENVELOPE APPEARINGS AT THE AMPLIFIER INPUT. 摘要： Involves an integrated composite plumbing fitting for a plumbing fixture. The integrated plumbing fitting includes all of the normal water control mechanism and is physically separated from the plumbing fixture, which may be a lavatory, with which the composite fitting is to be associated. The composite fitting includes two input water pipes, one for hot water and the other one for cold water, both connected to a mixing valve which may be controlled by a single lever. The integrated fitting also includes two stop valves, associated respectively with the two input water pipes, for closing either or both of the pipes whenever repairs or replacements or investigations are to be made. The integrated fitting also includes an exposed spout-end for discharging a stream of water received from a common outlet of the mixing valve. The integrated fitting also includes a case or housing, which may be made of metallic or plastic materials, and the entire structure is mounted in or against the wall above the plumbing fixture, namely, the lavatory. By manipulating the lever, hot or cold water, or a mixture thereof, may be fed through the spout-end from an elevated position above the basin of the lavatory, and the water may be accumulated in the basin and later released through the drain of the lavatory to the sewer system. The integrated fitting is arranged so that the conduits are closely coupled together by removable clips and all of the parts of the structure may be readily assembled or disassembled. The plumbing fixture itself has no water control mechanism, all of such mechanism being confined to the integrated fitting structure.

摘要： A sulfur dioxide collection system comprising ozone-producing electrodes upstream from a baghouse, electrostatic precipitator, or scrubber, etc., whereby ozone is produced and simultaneously reacted with sulfur dioxide in the gas stream, thereby forming sulfur trioxide which is converted to sulfuric acid mist prior to or after entry into the conventional collector. The collection system removes the acid mist, (together with particulates, if any) from the flowing gas.

摘要： A flag alarm system for a VOR receiver (applicable to other purposes) in which two 30 Hz signals of relatively variable phase normally present in two channels of the receiver, while the latter is operating properly, are multiplied together to produce modulation products including a dc component having a value which is a function of said phase, and which in one form of the invention is employed in a servo loop which indicates or controls said phase, and also a double frequency signal of peak amplitude independent of phase difference but a function of the products of the amplitudes of the 30 Hz signals. The double frequency signal operates to hold a flag inoperative, but cannot hold the flag if either or both 30 Hz signals disappear or are radically reduced in amplitude. The system indicates the presence or absence of valid signals, i.e. the two 30 Hz signals, and overall system malfunction, on a fail-safe basis.
