    Abstract: Disclosed is a fireplace apparatus having a remote automatic control function. The fireplace apparatus is capable of automatically controlling opening and closing of an air supply passage mounted below a combustion chamber corresponding to a detected temperature of the fireplace, displaying information related to an ignition state, a key selection state, a heating power setting state and key buttons for key selection, preventing foreign materials from being adhered to an electric heating member by a cover, and enabling a user to carry out remote ignition control, air amount control and temperature setting at a remote location. Accordingly, initial ignition can be stably achieved and the air supply amount is automatically controlled corresponding to the temperature of the combustion chamber. A user can achieve remote ignition or ignition reservation, and ignition and combustion are carried out at an optimum time according to the indoor temperature and time for returning home.

    Abstract: An apparatus having a substantially air-sealed, transparent, front through which a flame within the firebox may be viewed. The apparatus may include a burner configured to hold and burn a liquid fuel and positioned so as to cause a flame from the burning fuel to appear within the firebox. The liquid fuel may be ethanol. The apparatus may include an igniter that has a user-operated igniter control that may be operated by a user from outside of the firebox that, upon operation, causes the liquid fuel within the burner to be ignited. The apparatus may include an extinguisher that has a user-operated extinguisher control that may be operated by a user from outside of the firebox that, upon operation, causes the flame to be extinguished. The apparatus may include a fuel inlet located outside of the firebox, and a fuel channel between the fuel inlet and the burner. A fuel tank may also be provided.

    Abstract: A fireplace liner comprising a first panel configured to be located in front of a fireplace burner assembly that has a lateral dimension that extends across a viewing window of a fireplace box.     Abstract: A modular outdoor barbeque grill and firepit is constructed of artificial stone-like slab members, which permit a uniform construction method by utilizing only a single block with a universal joint configuration to create an easily assembled, disassembled, re-assembled, and inexpensively manufactured product. Simple variation in the slab members' length, as well as relocation of the joint permits tremendous versatility of product design without increasing complexity of assembly. Slab members are cast of air-entrained concrete in elastomeric molds for reduced density and lighter weight members, which have advantageous thermal properties, exhibit greater longevity in adverse weath conditions, and may be so formed with pigments to resemble stone, brick, or decorative mosaic tile. The ease of construction by the design of this invention also permits quick transition between a backyard fire pit and a barbeque grill with a sophisticated appearance.
