摘要： The present invention relates to an adjustable valve for a toilet in which the valve remains in a lower setting unless it is activated by the user to a higher setting and automatically returns to the lower setting after flushing the toilet. The amount of water used for each flush is dependent on the water level in the toilet tank. The water level in the tank is set by adjusting the height of the valve assembly. The valve assembly can be activated by the user to raise the height of the valve assembly and maintain the height using a release clip, thereby increasing the amount of water in the tank. When the handle is pressed to flush the toilet, the release clip is pulled back by a chain extending from the handle and the adjustable valve springs back to the lower setting.

摘要： A filling valve for a pressurized fluid container, including a valve body with a longitudinal bore and a side opening formed therein, a sealing assembly slidingly disposed in the valve body, the sealing assembly being formed with a bore therethrough, a valve lever pivotally attached to a portion of the valve body, the sealing, assembly including a jutting portion which protrudes in a direction generally away from a bottom portion of the valve body, a float arm attached to the valve lever, and a float mounted on the float arm, wherein when the float is positioned at a generally obtuse angle with respect to a longitudinal axis of the valve body, the jutting portion of the sealing assembly is raised and supported by the valve lever, such that the sealing assembly is raised and does not block the side opening thereby permitting fluid flow through the side opening, and wherein when the float is sufficiently buoyed by a fluid, the float arm swings upwards and the jutting portion of the sealing assembly is no longer supported by the valve lever and the sealing assembly moves downwards and blocks the side opening, thereby preventing fluid flow through the side opening.

摘要： An improved automatic fill valve assembly that is readily securable in a level position for installation and that has inlets adapted to accept either a toilet tank fill valve or a float type valve inside of the housing of the fill valve assembly. One improvement comprises a flange that defines at least one anchor point so that the entire assembly can be secured in place to an adjacent structure during installation. This arrangement advantageously holds the automatic fill valve assembly in a level position while workers pour cement around it. Another improvement comprises the provision of inlets that can be connected to a water source and are adapted to mount either a float valve assembly or a toilet tank fill valve inside of the fill valve assembly.

摘要： There is disclosed a level control valve arrangement preferably for use in a water closet cistern for controlling the liquid level in the cistern or container. The arrangement has a liquid inlet (3) feeding an inlet chamber (1) and a movable valve member (7,10) mounted on a seating (11,12) and movable between an open position in which liquid flows from the inlet into the cistern and a closed position in which liquid is prevented from flowing into the cistern. The movable valve member is biased preferably by a float arm into the closed position in response to liquid in the cistern rising to a predetermined level. The movable valve member (7,10) is mounted in the inlet chamber into which water is fed from the inlet (3) and in the closed position the valve is acted upon by a head of water in the inlet chamber to maintain the movable valve member in the closed position.The control system is distinguished by the use of water head pressure upon an upper conical surface of the movable valve member during closure thereof thereby increasing the compactness area upon its base. When releasing the movable valve member the conical form of the valve member exceeds the water pressure on the movable member during closure and slackens the pressure on it during opening.Advantageously, such an arrangement ensures there is no leakage of water into the cistern, the inlet valve is not affected by changes in water pressure of the inlet supply, and the contact area of the valve is substantially increased providing a considerably reduction of wear of the valve, particularly the rubber washer between the movable valve member and seating of the inlet chamber.Conveniently, the speed of water exiting from the expulsion valve opening is increased to more quickly and easily clean a lavatory for example.
