An exhaust-gas sampling system includes a main conveying line, a main throughput pump which conveys a sample gas in the main conveying line, a sample gas bag, a sample gas withdrawal line which fluidically connects the main conveying line to the sample gas bag, a throughflow control element arranged in the sample gas withdrawal line, an analyzer, a sample gas analysis line which connects the analyzer to the sample gas bag, an evacuation line which establishes a fluidic connection between the main throughput pump and the sample gas bag, and a first valve arranged in the evacuation line. The first valve opens and closes the evacuation line.
Abstract:
A system for taking exhaust gas samples from internal combustion engines includes an exhaust gas duct comprising an outflow cross section and an exhaust gas inlet. The exhaust gas duct communicates with an exhaust gas source via the exhaust gas inlet. An air duct takes in ambient air via a filter. The outflow cross section is concentric in the air duct. A mixing zone is arranged downstream of the outflow cross section. A dilution tunnel has an exhaust gas/air mixture flow therethrough. An annular orifice is arranged downstream of the outflow cross section in the dilution tunnel. A flow deflection device is arranged upstream of the annular orifice and downstream of the outflow cross section. The flow deflection device deflects the exhaust gas/air mixture so that it departs from a center axis of the dilution tunnel immediately downstream of the flow deflection device in an axially symmetrical manner.
Abstract:
A switch cabinet for an exhaust-gas measurement installation includes a cabinet body with two side walls, a ceiling, a floor, a front side and a back wall, a door to close the front side, a measurement gas distributor arranged in the cabinet body with an outlet, a coupling element fastened to the measurement gas distributor to form the outlet, at least one measuring device arranged in the cabinet body with an inlet, and a coupling element fastened to the at least one measuring device to form the inlet. The inlet is connected to the outlet to provide a gas-tight connection. The measurement gas distributor moves relative to the cabinet body so that the coupling element fastened to the measurement gas distributor and forming the outlet can be connected by insertion to the coupling element fastened to the at least one measuring device and forming the inlet.

A control cabinet for exhaust gas measuring facilities. The control cabinet includes a first cabinet body with first measuring appliances arranged therein for analyzing at least one sample gas, a door which opens and closes an open front side of the first cabinet body, the door being rotatably attached to the first cabinet body, an operating unit arranged on the door, and a second cabinet body with second measuring appliances arranged therein. The second cabinet body includes a second front side that can be closed and opened via a guided relative movement of the first cabinet body in relation to the second cabinet body. The first cabinet body is movable in a guided manner relative to the second cabinet body.

An exhaust gas sampling system includes a main conveying line, a main throughput pump which conveys a sample gas in the main conveying line, a first Venturi nozzle, a second Venturi nozzle, a first control valve, and a second control valve. The first Venturi nozzle and the second Venturi nozzle are connected in parallel and are arranged in the main conveying line upstream of the main throughput pump. The first Venturi nozzle is assigned the first control valve. The second Venturi nozzle is assigned the second control valve. Each of the first control valve and the second control valve are provided as a pinch valve. Each pinch valve has a flexible, hose-like control element and a pressure chamber which is filled with a fluid and which is arranged to surround the flexible, hose-like control element.

A condensate discharge system for an exhaust gas measuring device. The condensate discharge system includes a condensate separator in which a positive pressure prevails, an outflow line in which atmospheric pressure prevails, a connecting line, and an intermediate reservoir in which the positive pressure prevails. The intermediate reservoir is arranged between the condensate separator and the outflow line and is directly connected to the condensate separator via the connecting line. The intermediate reservoir includes a float valve via which a condensate is dischargeable into the outflow line.
Abstract:
A device for determining a concentration of at least one gas in a sample gas flow by infrared absorption spectroscopy. The device includes a gas cell which includes a thermal insulation, a chamber, a heating source arranged within the thermal insulation which heats the sample gas flow to a desired temperature, and a sample gas duct having an outlet. The sample gas duct is heated by the heating source upstream of the outlet. An infrared radiation source emits a radiation which is conducted through the chamber of the gas cell. The sample gas flow is conducted into the chamber and into the radiation. A detector has the radiation exiting the chamber conducted thereto to determine an absorption spectrum.
