摘要： An audio rate converter converts a sampling rate for audio data into a fixed rate. In the audio rate converter, an input audio data DAin at a sampling rate of PFS (48 kHz.+-.x%) are stored in the memory in accordance with a write address WAD which is synchronized with the rate PFS. Audio data are read from the memory in accordance with a read address RAD which is synchronized with a rate FS (48 kHz), and coefficient data determined based on a sampling point in output audio data are read from a ROM table in accordance with a read address Coef.AD which is synchronized with the rate FS. A data arithmetic and logic circuit performs multiplying and adding operations using these data in order to produce the output audio data DAout. If the sampling rate PFS at which the input audio data are provided changes, the audio rate converter can provide the output audio data DAout at the fixed sampling rate FS.

摘要： A video signal processing apparatus includes a discrete cosine transform circuit for generating a DC component and an AC component by processing image data in a discrete cosine transform fashion, a motion detecting circuit for generating a coincidence detection level based on an energy ratio between the DC component and the AC component generated by the discrete cosine transform circuit, comparing a difference between a DC component of a first field or frame and a DC component of a second field or frame continuing the first field or frame of the image data with the coincidence detection level and detecting on the basis of a compared result whether the image data indicates a moving picture or a still picture, and an image inserting and extracting circuit for inserting an image into or extracting an image from image data at field or frame unit based on a detected result of the motion detecting circuit, wherein the image inserting and extracting circuit inserts an image into or extracts an image from image data at the field unit when the motion detecting circuit detects that the image data indicates a moving picture and inserts an image into or extracts an image from image data at the frame unit when the motion detecting circuit detects that the image data indicates a still picture.

摘要： A high speed data processing apparatus which is able to produce smooth reproduced pictures without lowering the quality of the reproduced picture. When the high speed reproduction is selected by a user, a system controller controls a media controller to cause a reproducing driver to read out a plural number of stamp video data from an optical disc to write the data in an associated memory space of the memory on the frame basis. The data processing apparatus reads out stamp video data written on the frame basis in a memory space of the memory portion-wise to display the plural number of frames of the picture information simultaneously on one picture frame in each output frame.

摘要： An information processing apparatus decrypts, using meta data, encrypted data obtained by encrypting stream data including successive frames according to an encryption method in which, when the stream data is sequentially encrypted on a frame-by-frame basis, a key used for encrypting each frame is updated according to a predetermined rule. The meta data includes the plurality of keys used for encrypting the stream data and update information for identifying update timings of the keys. The apparatus includes a decrypter for acquiring the encrypted data and decrypting each frame using the key used for encrypting the frame and a meta data acquirer for acquiring the meta data and delivering one of the keys corresponding to the frame to the decrypter in accordance with the update information. The meta data acquirer includes a corrector for detecting an error in the update information and correcting the update information if an error has occurred.
