Abstract:
A handheld electronic device including a first body, a second body, and a rising mechanism is provided. The second body is stacked under the first body. A side of the second body facing the first body has a depression. The rising mechanism is connected between the first body and the second body. The rising mechanism is slidably coupled to the first body, so that when the first body and the second body are relatively spread, the first body slides relative to the rising mechanism. In addition, when the first body reaches a predetermined position, an end of the first body enters the depression, the rising mechanism drives the first body to rotate relative to the second body, and an upper surface of the first body and an upper surface of the second body form an angle.
Abstract:
The application provides an electronic device. The electronic device includes a main body and a cover. The main body has a sheet and the sheet includes a first key set and a second key set. The cover, slidably disposed on the main body between a first configuration and a second configuration, includes a first portion and a second portion connected thereto. The first key set is visible through the first portion and the second portion covers the second key set when the cover is in the first configuration, and the second key set is visible through the first portion and the second portion covers the first key set when the cover is in the second configuration.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes a housing, a main display unit, an auxiliary display module and a processor. The main display unit and the auxiliary display module are both disposed on the housing. The auxiliary display module includes an auxiliary display unit and an input unit. The auxiliary display unit is used for displaying a user interface, and the input unit is used for receiving a user input. The processor is coupled to the input unit, and performs a corresponding function according to the user input.
Abstract:
An input module for an electronic device includes a key and a touch sensing unit. The touch sensing unit includes a substrate, a sensing circuit, and a conductive member protruding from the substrate. The conductive member has a connection portion and a sensing portion. The connection portion is electronically connected to the sensing circuit, and the sensing portion is movable with respect to the substrate and connected to the key for detecting a contact on the key.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes a substrate, a processor, and a cooling mechanism. The processor is disposed on the substrate. The cooling mechanism includes a conductive medium, a cooling plate and a protrusion. The conductive medium contacts the processor. The cooling plate contacts the conduction medium. The protrusion protruding from the cooling plate connects the substrate to define and maintain a distance between the substrate and the cooling plate. Thus, the contact between the processor, the conductive medium, and the cooling plate are tightly maintained.
Abstract:
While a tray moves into a disk drive, a clamper and a turntable are used to clamp a disk. While the tray is moving into the disk drive without a disk thereon, the clamper and turntable hit with each other, which generates an uncomfortable noise. The apparatus for reducing the noise is an improved clamper with holes thereon. Alternatively, the clamper is replaced by a clamping part, which includes a metal plate and a plastic plate. The plastic plate has a holder, which clips tight an extension of the metal plate. Therefore, the noise, which is generated from the collision of metal plate and the turntable, is reduced.
Abstract:
A method and disc reading device for detecting an unbalanced disc are disclosed. The disc reading device includes a first sensor, a second sensor, a cache memory, an operating unit and a data table. The first sensor and the second sensor respectively detect a first parameter and a second parameter when the disc reading apparatus driving the disc at a predetermined voltage. When the first parameter is detected as being equal to a first predetermined value, the cache memory records the second parameter as a first corresponding value. When the second parameter is detected as being equal to a second predetermined value, the cache memory records the second parameter as a second corresponding value. The operating unit calculates a difference between the first and the second corresponding values to obtain the unbalance status.
Abstract:
Touch-sensitive control systems and methods are provided. The touch-sensitive control system includes a touch interface and a sensor. The touch interface includes a first zone and a second zone having an icon corresponding to a function. The sensor is disposed under the touch interface for detecting contacts on the physical interface. When a contact on the icon of the second zone is detected by the sensor, the corresponding function is activated. When a movement on the first zone is detected by the sensor, an operation corresponding to the function is performed according to the movement.

Abstract:
A handheld electronic device including a first body, a second body, a sliding block and a linkage mechanism is provided. The first body is stacked on the second body. The sliding block is located between the first body and the second body, and is slidably coupled to the first body. The linkage mechanism is connected between the sliding block and the second body, by which while the first body and the second body are spread in a direction, the first body and the second body are approximately coplanar. Therefore, space in the device can be used efficiently. Besides, the device can be more miniaturized and operated more conveniently.
