Abstract:
A direct current (DC) brushless vibration motor includes an inductive coil as the stator, and a magnetic element, which has a plurality of coplanar magnetic poles, as the rotor. The inductive coil is a single annular coil formed by a singly-wound conductive wire. The winding area corresponds to two magnetic poles of the magnetic element of the like polarity at opposite sides. The magnetic element has a centrifugal slot to make the gravity center of the magnetic element eccentric from the axis. When current is input into the inductive coil to form a magnetic field, the magnetic element and the magnetic field generated by the inductive coil repulse each other to generate rotation. The eccentric gravity center of the magnetic element can generate the vibration desired.
Abstract:
A heat dissipation apparatus and method for dissipating heat from a heat source includes a thermal conductive element bonding to the heat source to transfer heat energy generated by the heat source and a vibration source located on the thermal conductive element to accelerate heat transfer to the edges of the thermal conductive element to perform heat exchange with external cooling air and improve cooling efficiency.
Abstract:
A motor magnetic pole assembly includes a coil body, an H shape base, and two conductive portions. The coil body has a central shaft in a center and connection ends at two ends respectively. The H shape base includes a column and a first plate body, the coil body surrounds the column, and the central shaft is parallel with the column. The two conductive portions are respectively arranged on a surface of the first plate body and are spaced by a distance, and the two connection ends are electrically connected to the two conductive portions respectively. Therefore, the motor magnetic pole assembly may be precisely and quickly placed on a circuit board through an automation process, thereby increasing a processing speed of a production line.
Abstract:
A spindle motor for a disc drive, such as a CD-ROM drive, is provided. This spindle motor is a brushless motor of a single-phase axial-winding and radial-gap type including a stator, a rotor coupled to said stator, and a driving circuit for supplying a driving signal to the stator to rotate the rotor. The stator includes a pair of upper and bottom salient-pole pieces formed with a plurality of tooth-like portions serving as salient-poles. The peak surface of each tooth-like portion is formed into a symmetrical convex shape, which minimizes the cogging torque of the motor. Further, the use of a phase-adjuster in the driving circuit allows the motor to produce large output torque at high speeds. The output characteristics of this spindle motor meet the requirements of high speed CD-ROM drives.
