Abstract:
Certain aspects of a method and system for a flexible multiplexer and mixer (FMM) are disclosed. Aspects of one method may include mixing primary audio information and secondary audio information of sampled received audio data based on corresponding metadata information to generate mixed output audio data. The generated mixed output audio data may be pulled through a plurality of pipeline stages.
Abstract:
An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for modifying print parameters. In one embodiment, a scanner automatically scans a print media and/or packaging for the print media. In an alternate embodiment, a RFID interrogator interrogates an RFID for the print media and/or print media packaging. A detection module detects an identifier of the print media, a printed image on the print media, and/or print media packaging. The identifier may be one or more symbols and/or one or more physical characteristics. An attribute module determines an attribute of the print media in response to the identifier. The attribute is relevant to color calibration for printing on the print media. A modification module modifies a print parameter in response to the attribute. The print parameter may modify a rendition command that renders a digital image on the print media.
Abstract:
A method for fabricating a body-tied SOI transistor with reduced body resistance is presented. During the wafer fabrication process, a semiconductor wafer is placed in an ion implantation device and oriented to a first position relative to a beam path of the ion implantation device in order to obtain a substantially non-orthogonal twist orientation between the beam path and the transistor gate edge. Following this orientation of the first position, an ion species is implanted into a first implantation region. The wafer is then rotated to a second substantially non-orthogonal twist orientation, where another ion implantation is conducted. This process continues in the same manner, such that further substantially non-orthogonal twists and ion implantations are conducted, until the desired number of implantation areas is created. Halo or pocket implants are an example of the type of implantations to which the technique may be applied.
Abstract:
A system of network proxies distributes data to multiple servers. Each network proxy is associated with a server. A network proxy intercepts a client request for data. If the network proxy determines that the request can be served using a copy of data stored on the local server, rather than the data stored on a remote server, it diverts the request to the local server. If the network proxy determines that the request cannot be served using a data from the local server, the network proxy diverts the request to a remote server storing the primary copy of the data. A server map specifies the locations of the primary copies of data. When a primary copy of data is updated on one of the servers, the associated network proxy propagates the updated data to the other servers. The servers can provide data from files, e-mail services, databases, or multimedia services.
Abstract:
A lower cradle and wheel bracket arrangement for golf cart is constructed to include a cradle body, a support member pivoted to the cradle body, a wheel bracket pivoted to the support member and holding a front wheel, a first lock adapted to lock the support member to the cradle body, and a second lock adapted to lock the wheel bracket to the support member.
Abstract:
A demodulator (10) converts television signals to video baseband signals and audio baseband signals including stereo signals representing a right channel signal value and a left channel signal value. A DSP (60) recursively finds a preferred coefficient value for a scaling that reduces stereo separation due to amplitude variation of the right and left channel signal values. The preferred coefficient value is thereafter used for scaling the right and left channel signal values.
Abstract:
An architecture for data retrieval from a plurality of coupling queues. At least first and second data queues are provided for receiving data thereinto. The data is read from the at least first and second data queues with reading logic, the reading logic reading the data according to a predetermined queue selection algorithm. The data read from by reading logic and forwarded to an output queue.
Abstract:
A wheeled walker brake lever mounting arrangement is constructed to include a mounting base frame fixedly fastened to one handlebar of a wheeled walker, a brake cable inserted through the mounting base frame and connected to a brake assembly at rear wheels of the wheeled walker, and a brake lever coupled to the mounting base frame by a slip joint and connected to the brake lever and turned relative to the mounting base frame between a first position where the brake lever is firmly secured in position to pull up the brake cable and to hold the brake cable in the braking position, a second (the neutral) position where the brake lever is loosened, and a third position where the brake lever holds the brake cable temporarily in the braking position.
