摘要： A material handling vehicle includes a vehicle body with a vertically extendible mast fixed to the vehicle body. A fork support is fixed relative to the mast and has a first side and a second side. The first side faces away from the second side. A first fork is mounted to the fork support and is movable between a first fork stored position and a first fork working position. In the first fork working position, the first fork extends substantially perpendicularly from the first side of the fork support. A second fork is mounted to the fork support and is movable between a second fork stored position and a second fork working position. In the second fork working position, the second fork extends substantially perpendicularly from the second side of the fork support.

The first control handle is positioned adjacent the forks for driving the vehicle in a fore or forks first direction, and the second control handle is positioned adjacent the back of the vehicle for driving the vehicle in the aft or forks trailing direction. The aft control handle is provided in a twist grip style, which can be gripped easily by an operator facing the aft of the material handling vehicle. The control handles provide stability for the operator and an intuitive operator interface irrespective of direction of travel.

摘要： Systems and methods include an integrated display having a graphical user interface that combines aspects of a telematic system with a vehicle control system. The integrated display combines a touch screen and a manual input keypad. Using both the touch screen's graphical user interface and the keypad, the integrated display can operate in multiple operation modes, including a touch mode where the operator controls the graphical user interface functions by touching predefined areas or tiles on the screen, and a keypad mode, where the operator controls the graphical user interface functions by touching keys on the manual input keypad. The integrated display can be controlled in a mixed mode operation, where the operator can control the graphical user interface functions using both the touch screen (touch mode) and the manual input keypad (keypad mode) to complete data entry processes, for example, and the integrated display can automatically transition between modes.

The mast mounts a locating apparatus such that a locating axis of the locating apparatus is coaxial with a steering axis of the steerable drive wheel of the material handling vehicle. An integral display mount may include a display unit and display screen housed in a display housing that is integral with the steering handle of the vehicle. The integral nature of the display mount allows the display unit to move with the steering handle during steering of the vehicle.
