    Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are described herein for supporting low power high accuracy positioning (LPHAP). A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive configuration information (e.g., in a radio resource control (RRC) reconfiguration message) from a first cell. The configuration information may indicate a first sounding reference for positioning (SRSp) configuration and a second SRSp configuration. The first SRSp configuration may be associated with a first positioning area and the second SRSp configuration may be associated with a second positioning area. The first positioning area may include a first cell ID set and the second positioning area may include a second cell ID set. The first SRSp configuration may be activated and the second SRSp configuration may be deactivated.

    Abstract: A system and apparatus are disclosed herein for vehicle to everything (V2X) wireless communication. A V2X wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive a vehicle to everything (V2X) message including configuration information and a road side unit (RSU) address. The WTRU may then transmit a message to the RSU according to the configuration information including multimedia broadcast multicast services (MBMS) data. The configuration information may include a MBMS service descriptor. One or more of the V2X messages may include priority information, WTRU type information, or both.

    Abstract: A discoverer user equipment sends a discovery announcement to a discoveree user equipment via a sidelink service. The announcement includes criteria for a service sought by discoverer. The discoveree assesses the announcement and may respond to the discoverer. The discovery announcement may be a target search discovery announcement or a self-advertisement discovery announcement, and may be unicast, groupcast, or broadcast. The discoverer and discoveree may perform synchronization in support of V2X sidelink communication and may collect driving information pertaining to vehicles associated with the discoverer and discoveree, respectively, such as driving intention, positioning, and environment information. The discoverer may request an authorization for the discovery announcement, and the request may include the driving information. The information in the announcement and the response may include discoverer and discoveree service, platform, and radio capabilities, source identifiers, driving information, radio measurements, group identifiers, and protocol configuration parameters.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and. devices may assist in new radio (NR) sidelink (SL) operation in licensed or unlicensed spectrum. In an example, if listen-before-talk (LBT) failure rate is low, then implicit acknowledgement (ACK) and explicit non-acknowledgement (NACK) may be used. A first SL timer may start when a. SL transport block is transmitted. If no explicit NACK, is received before the SL timer expires, then ACK. may be assumed. If LBT failure rate is high, then explicit ACK and implicit NACK may be used. A second SL timer may start. If no explicit ACK is received before the SL timer expires, then NACK may be assumed.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus for beam refinement are disclosed. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may be configured to receive configuration information. The configuration information may indicate an association between preambles, synchronization signal blocks (SSBs), reference signal (RS) sets, and physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) resources. The WTRU may be configured to receive a plurality of SSBs, determine a measurement of the received SSBs, and select an SSB based on the determined measurement. The WTRU may be configured to select and transmit a preamble using a first beam. The WTRU may be configured to receive a plurality of sets of RSs based on the transmitted preamble and determine a measurement of the received sets of RSs. The WTRU may be configured to select a RS based on the determined measurement of the received sets of RSs. The WTRU may be configured to transmit uplink data on a PUSCH using a second beam.

    Abstract: A WTRU may be configured to perform adaptive on-demand positioning. The WTRU may receive configuration information for receiving positioning signals (PRSs) from a first set of one or more TRPs. For example, the configuration information may comprise PRS configuration information associated with each of the first set of TRPs. The WTRU may determine a metric (e.g., a weight, rank, etc.) associated with TRP that is not included in the first set of one or more TRPs. For example, the metric may be determined (e.g., using an AI/ML model) based on: a location associated with the TRP, a location associated with the WTRU, and/or a measurement associated with the TRP. The WTRU may send a PRS activation request to activate PRS from the TRP. For example, the PRS activation request may indicate the PRS configuration that the WTRU requests be activated, and a metric associated with that PRS configuration.
