Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive a downlink transmission and send a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmission in each resource block (RB) of an interlace of a plurality of RBs in an active bandwidth part (BWP). A base sequence is mapped to the PUCCH transmission repetitively, once to each RB of the plurality of RBs of the interlace, using a different cyclic shift of the base sequence for each RB. Each different cyclic shift of the base sequence in the PUCCH transmission to each RB is a function of a RB index of the respective RB. The PUCCH transmission indicates either an acknowledgement (ACK) or a negative ACK (NACK) of the received downlink transmission.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for beam refinement are disclosed. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may be configured to receive configuration information. The configuration information may indicate an association between preambles, synchronization signal blocks (SSBs), reference signal (RS) sets, and physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) resources. The WTRU may be configured to receive a plurality of SSBs, determine a measurement of the received SSBs, and select an SSB based on the determined measurement. The WTRU may be configured to select and transmit a preamble using a first beam. The WTRU may be configured to receive a plurality of sets of RSs based on the transmitted preamble and determine a measurement of the received sets of RSs. The WTRU may be configured to select a RS based on the determined measurement of the received sets of RSs. The WTRU may be configured to transmit uplink data on a PUSCH using a second beam.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are described. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) includes a transceiver and a processor. The transceiver and the processor receive a master information block (MIB) on a physical broadcast channel (PBCH), wherein the MIB includes an indication of control channel element (CCE) resources, transmit uplink data on a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH, and receive at least one CCE in the indicated CCE resources. The at least one CCE includes multiple bits, each of which indicates whether a respective block of data is required to be retransmitted. At least the multiple bits are channel coded and have a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) attached.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, systems, devices, and computer program products directed to phase-continuous frequency selective precoding are provided. Included among these classes are methods for use in connection with dynamic precoding resource block group (PRG) configuration and with codebook based transmission configuration. A representative of such methods may include any of receiving signaling indicating transmit precoding information; determining a candidate PRG size using any of the transmit precoding information, a rule for determining a PRG size and configured PRG sizes; and configuring or reconfiguring a wireless transmit/receive device in accordance with the candidate PRG size. Another of the representative methods may include reporting a transmission coherence capability of a wireless transmit/receive unit; receiving a codebook subset restriction (CBSR) commensurate with the transmission coherence capability; determining a transmit precoding matrix indices (TPMI) size based on the CBSR; receiving a TPMI; and detecting or decoding the TPMI based on the determined TPMI size.

Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive a first higher layer configuration for a cancellation indication (CI). Further, the first higher layer configuration may include a set of reference frequency resources. Also, the WTRU may receive a grant indicating a frequency allocation and a time allocation for a scheduled transmission. Further, on a condition that the CI is received, the WTRU may interrupt the scheduled transmission. Additionally, the CI may indicate a subset of frequency resources of the set of reference frequency resources for each of a set of time symbols. Also, the WTRU may cancel the scheduled transmission on a condition that the subset of frequency resources of a set of time symbols overlaps with the frequency allocation and the time allocation for the scheduled transmission. In a further example, the first higher layer configuration may include an applicable maximum priority and the grant may include a priority index.

Abstract: A WTRU may receive a plurality of monitoring configurations. The plurality of monitoring configurations may be associated with a plurality of sub-bands. The WTRU may apply a monitoring configuration based on the location of a slot inside or outside of a COT. For example, the WTRU may apply (e.g., use) a first monitoring configuration outside a COT. The WTRU may apply a second monitoring configuration in a first slot of a COT. The WTRU may apply a third monitoring configuration to the slots of a COT subsequent to the first slot of the COT. A user equipment device may be configured to transmit uplink control information and other feedback for several downlink component carriers using one or more uplink component carriers. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for addressing timing advance (TA) in non-terrestrial network communication is disclosed herein. A wireless transmit and receive unit (WTRU) may receive system information from a base station attached to an airborne or spaceborne vehicle that indicates a physical random access channel (PRACH) resource. The WTRU may determine a timing offset based on a plurality of information, such as the location information and the system information. The WTRU may transmit a preamble using the timing offset via the PRACH resource. The base station may receive the preamble and send a random access response (RAR) that includes, for example, a TA command. The WTRU may receive the RAR including the TA command and combine the timing offset with the TA command to determine an actual TA, after which the WTRU may use the actual TA for uplink transmissions.

Abstract: Methods for receiving and transmitting downlink transmissions with increased reliability are provided. A method includes receiving configuration information defining first and second search space sets. The first search space set includes a first one or more search spaces each including a plurality of physical downlink control (PDCCH) candidates. The second search space set includes a second one or more search spaces each including a plurality of PDCCH candidates. The configuration information indicates that the first and second one or more search spaces are linked. The method further includes receiving downlink control information (DCI) by detecting, based on the received configuration information, a first transmission using PDCCH candidates of the first one or more search spaces, detecting a second transmission using PDCCH candidates of the second one or more search spaces, and decoding at least one of the first transmission or the second transmission.
