The battery pack locking apparatus includes a mounting groove formed at a prescribed position of the rear casing frame, a push locker unit mounted in the mounting groove such that the push locker unit can be moved toward the front and the rear of the terminal body when the push locker unit is pushed, a slide locker unit coupled with the push locker unit at the lower part of the push locker unit such that the slide locker unit can be slid toward the upper and lower ends of the terminal body, as the push locker unit is moved toward the front and the rear of the terminal body, for locking the battery pack to the battery pack locking space or popping the battery pack out of the battery pack locking space when the battery pack is unlocked from the battery pack locking space, and a coil spring mounted to the slide locker unit for providing an elastic force so that the push locker unit is moved toward the front and the rear of the terminal body and the slide locker unit is slid toward the upper and lower ends of the terminal body.
Abstract:
An apparatus for reducing power consumption in a digital broadcast receiver is provided. An AC-to-DC converter converts input AC power into DC power that can be used in the receiver. A power control switch selectively supplies the DC power from the converter to a tuner unit and a decoder according to a command of a controller. The tuner unit receives broadcast channel signals and demodulates the received broadcast channel signals according to the respective broadcast formats. The decoder receives the demodulated broadcast signals from the tuner unit and decodes analog/digital broadcast signals. A multimedia output port is connected between the decoder and the display unit to transfer the audio/video output signals from the decoder to the display unit. The controller detects the state of the display unit through the multimedia output port to control whether to supply the DC power through the power control switch.
Abstract:
A drum for use in a dryer is provided. The drum includes a plurality of segments joined axially to form the drum's cylindrical shape. The drum has a simple structure enabling the use of standardized segments to facilitate dryer manufacture by reducing production costs, increasing productivity, and reducing failure rates. The drum, which has a cylindrical shape, is composed of a plurality of segments, preferably, three, each arranged axially with respect to the axis of the drum. The drum includes a coupling mechanism, provided on each side edge of each segment, for joining the segments to form the cylindrical shape of the drum.
Abstract:
A pellicle membrane structure (800) is made by a process that includes depositing (115) a etch mask layer (110) on the backside of the semiconductor wafer, deposting (120) a first pellicle membrane protection layer (205) on a frontside of the semiconductor wafer, depositing (125) a layer of membrane material (210) that is preferably SiOF on the first membrane protection layer, and depositing (130) a second pellicle membrane protection layer (215) on the membrane material layer, forming a pattern (140) for an opening (410) in the semiconductor, and etching (150) to form the opening. Oxygen plasma (155) is then used to remove carbon from the exposed portions of the pellicle membrane protection layers, which are preferably SiCN, which in the preferable embodiment changes the exposed surfaces to SiOF, thereby forming a thin SiOF membrane (715) over the opening.
Abstract:
A desirable pattern is formed in a photoresist layer that overlies a semiconductor wafer using an attenuating phase shift reflective mask. This mask is formed by consecutively depositing an attenuating phase shift layer, a buffer layer and a repairable layer. The repairable layer is patterned according to the desirable pattern. The repairable layer is inspected to find areas in which the desirable pattern is not achieved. The repairable layer is then repaired to achieve the desirable pattern with the buffer layer protecting the attenuating phase shift layer. The desirable pattern is transferred to the buffer layer and then transferred to the attenuating phase shift layer to achieve the attenuating phase shift reflective mask. Radiation is reflected off the attenuating phase shift reflective mask to the photoresist layer to expose it with the desirable pattern.

Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for sensing a lane departure using images that surround a vehicle. The lane departure sensing method includes receiving images that are taken during driving by a plurality of cameras installed in a car, through respective channels connected to the cameras; modifying the obtained images into top-view images to generate a plurality of modified images; compositing the plurality of modified images to generate images that surround a vehicle; extracting a lane from the images that surround the vehicle, and yielding the information on a distance between the vehicle and the extracted lane or the information on an angle between the travel direction of the vehicle and the lane, so as to determine a lane departure; and giving a warning if the lane departure is determined.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a method of driving a touch panel having driving lines, sensing lines, and node capacitors between neighboring driving lines and sensing lines. The method includes pairing two neighboring driving lines, setting the pairs such that each of the pairs is driven using driving signals having an opposite phase, shuffling positions of the pairs so that at least one set of neighboring pairs includes different driving lines, classifying or combining at least two shuffled pairs into one group, generating Hadamard codes based on the pairs in each group, and simultaneously driving the driving lines in each of the generated Hadamard codes.
