摘要: A method for using a foam condensation board system in a building according to one embodiment comprises the steps of: providing a foam condensation board system, providing a building having a roof and a roof supporting structure, and installing the foam condensation board system to the roof supporting structure. The foam condensation board system comprises at least a first layer, a second layer, a third layer, a fourth layer, and a fifth layer. The first layer is made from a material selected from the group consisting of alkenyl aromatic polymers, polyolefins, polyethylene terephthalate, polyesters, and combinations thereof. The second and fourth layers are independently made from a material selected from the group consisting of alkenyl aromatic polymers, polyolefins, polyethylene terephthalate, adhesives, and combinations thereof. The third layer is made from a material selected from the group consisting of alkenyl aromatic polymers, polyethylene terephthalate, and combinations thereof. The fifth layer is made from a material selected from the group consisting of alkenyl aromatic polymers, polyolefins, polyethylene terephthalate, polyesters, and combinations thereof. At least one layer is a foam layer. The second layer is located between the first and third layers. The fourth layer is located between the third and fifth layers. A method of using a foam condensation board system in a building according to another embodiment comprises the steps of: providing a foam condensation board system, providing a building having a side wall and a side wall supporting structure, and installing the foam condensation board system to the side wall supporting structure.

摘要: An underlayment with improved drainage is disclosed. Particularly, the invention relates to an underlayment board having a first surface and a second surface, wherein the board further includes a top edge and a bottom edge and includes at least one channel defined in the first surface with each of the at least one channel extending from the top edge to the bottom edge to form a drainage path therebetween. More particularly, the underlayment board can include at least one funnel defined proximate at least the top edge or the bottom edge, wherein the at least one funnel is in fluid communication with a corresponding one of the at least one channel. A method of finishing an exterior of a structural substrate and a building assembly are also disclosed.

摘要: A protective drainage wrap comprises a first portion and a second portion. The first portion comprises cross-woven or cross-laminate material in the machine direction and in the transverse direction. The material in the machine direction comprises a polyolefin, polyester, nylon or combinations thereof and has a first thickness. The material in the transverse direction comprises a polyolefin, polyester, nylon or combinations thereof and has a second thickness. The second thickness is at least about 2 times greater than the first thickness so as to assist in providing drainage for moisture build-up. The second portion is a coating comprising a polyolefin, polyester, nylon or combinations thereof. The first and second portions are located adjacent to each other. According to one embodiment, the material in the transverse direction is yarn.
