The method includes displaying a first screen in a first touch screen; displaying a second screen in a second touch screen; detecting multiple touches in the first touch screen; detecting continuous movements of the multiple touches from the first touch screen to the second touch screen; and changing the second screen of the second touch screen in response to the continuous movements of the multiple touches.

A user terminal device and a method are provided. The user terminal includes a display unit for displaying a plurality of UI lines, each including displayed objects of different categories, and a background image corresponding to one of the objects displayed on the plurality of UI lines; and a control unit for controlling the display unit to change the objects displayed on the plurality of UI lines in accordance with an update state of the objects, reconfigure the changed objects, and display the reconfigured objects; wherein a length of each of the plurality of UI lines is changeable individually.
Abstract:
A method of controlling a portable device including at least one foldable panel and first and second touch screens is provided. The method includes displaying, on the first touch screen, a first page designated as a home screen and an icon related to at least one application, and a dock area, and displaying, on the second touch screen, first information in a state where the foldable panel is unfolded. The method also includes replacing the first page and the dock area with an outgoing call screen, receiving a phone number input, replacing the outgoing call screen with a dialing screen, and displaying, on the second touch screen, a guide message indicating to fold the portable device for a call. The method also includes replacing the dialing screen with a mid-call screen, and removing the guide message displayed on the second touch screen, and displaying the first information.

A flexible display apparatus and a method of displaying a User Interface (UI) are provided. The flexible display apparatus includes an exposed area determining unit for determining an exposed screen area facing outwards with respect to the flexible display apparatus; a User Interface (UI) generating unit for generating a UI corresponding to the outwardly facing exposed screen area; and a display unit for displaying the generated UI on the outwardly facing exposed screen area.

A method and apparatus for inputting various operation instructions to a device including two movable panels. The method includes determining whether a relative angle between the first panel and the second panel is within an effective angle range; determining whether the relative angle within the effective angle range is maintained during an effective time; and inputting an operation instruction to the device based on whether the relative angle between the first panel and the second panel is within the effective angle range and whether the relative angle within the effective angle range is maintained during the effective time.

A method and apparatus are provided for generating emotional information including a user's impressions in relation to multimedia content or meta data regarding the emotional information, and a computer readable recording medium storing the method. The meta data generating method includes receiving emotional information in relation to the content from at least one client system which receives and reproduces the content; generating meta data for an emotion using the emotional information; and coupling the meta data for the emotion to the content. Accordingly, it is possible to automatically acquire emotional information by using the facial expression of a user who is appreciating multimedia content, and use the emotional information as meta data.

An image processing method and apparatus for automatically rotating an image and a display unit, and an information storage medium storing image information. The apparatus including a photographing unit which generates image data and a rotation sensing unit which generates rotational information of a rotation state of the photographing unit. When an object is photographed, the rotation information of the image is obtained and stored together, and when the image is displayed, the rotation is analyzed and the image and display unit are automatically rotated. When an image including moving picture information is watched, an image always optimized to be horizontal without additional work by a user can be seen.
