摘要: A lithium-ion secondary battery with excellent durability is provided using a two-phase coexisting compound as a positive electrode active material. This lithium-ion secondary battery is provided with an electrode body having a positive electrode containing a positive electrode active material and a negative electrode containing a negative electrode active material, and a non-aqueous electrolyte solution containing a lithium salt in an organic solvent. The positive electrode active material is mainly composed of a two-phase coexisting compound containing lithium, and also contains particles of a lithium-transition metal oxide with a layered structure. The particles of the layered oxide have an average particle diameter of 2 μm or less, and the percentage content thereof in the positive electrode active material is 5 mass % or less.

摘要: A rolling bearing assembly in which the number of components is reduced, and a high speed operation can be enabled with an increase of the stirring resistance being avoided by a sufficient discharge of lubricant oil and with an increase of temperature within the bearing assembly being suppressed. The rolling bearing assembly includes a pair of raceway rings, which are inner and outer rings, a plurality of rolling elements interposed between the inner and outer rings and a retailer for retaining the rolling elements. Each of the inner and outer rings is provided with an axially extending raceway ring extension portion and an oil supply and drainage mechanism for supplying a lubricant oil, which concurrently serves as a bearing cooling medium, to the bearing assembly and for discharging the lubricant oil to outside of the bearing assembly is provided in the raceway ring extension portion.

摘要: A lithium ion secondary battery provided by the present invention has a positive electrode having a current collector and a positive electrode composite layer provided on the current collector. The current collector contains a metal element A as a main component thereof. The positive electrode composite layer contains a two-phase compound containing lithium as a positive electrode active material. The positive electrode composite layer also contains as an additive a compound having a metal element B, in a composition thereof, that has a higher ionization tendency than the metal element A.

摘要: A cage of a cylindrical roller bearing includes an annular section, a plurality of pillars that extend axially in an integrated, continuous manner from the inside surface of the annular section, and a plurality of pockets, which are formed between the inner circumferential direction side faces of adjacent pillars, and hold the cylindrical rollers in a freely rotatable manner. The circumferential direction side faces of the pillars incorporate a circular arc surface formed in both the inside and outside diameter directions from the pocket PCD which passes through the pocket center of the pocket, and a roll-off section (lubricant reservoir) provided at the tip end inner circumferential section.

摘要: A bearing for use in the main spindle of a machine tool is provide, in which at least the raceway of the bearing contains by mass, C: 0.6-1.3%, Si: 0.3—3.0%, Mn: 0.2-.5%, P: 0.03% or less, S: 0.03% or less, Cr: 0.3-5.0%, Ni: 0.1-3.0%, Al: 0.050% or less, Ti: 0.003% or less, O: 0.0015% or less, N: 0.015% or less; and the rest is composed of Fe and unavoidable impurities. The raceway is tempered after either quenching or carbonitriding and its surface hardness presents at least HRC 58 after tempering.
