摘要: A method includes separating a strip of sheet metal from a sheet metal body by a combination of punching and laser cutting, the strip having a first joint edge having at least one first alignment element and a second joint edge having at least one second alignment element complementary to the at least one first alignment element, folding a longitudinal edge portion of the strip to form a flange, bending the strip into a ring and materially bonding the first joint edge to the second joint edge, installing the ring on a radially inner circumferential surface or a radially outer circumferential surface and mounting a plurality of rolling-elements on the ring. The first joint edge and the second joint edge are formed by the punching, and side edges connecting the first joint edge and the second joint edge are formed by the laser cutting.

摘要: A method for surface treatment of a workpiece includes providing the workpiece with hardened workpiece surface, clamping the workpiece, removing material from the hardened workpiece surface with a material removal tool to produce a machined surface with first machining tracks, and rolling the machined surface with a rolling tool by overlapping the first machining tracks to produce a rolled surface with second machining tracks. A distance between the material removal tool and the rolling tool measured in an axial direction of the workpiece is varied in an oscillating manner. The material removal tool may be advanced in the axial direction at a constant speed and the rolling tool may be advanced in the axial direction at an oscillating speed, or the rolling tool may be advanced in the axial direction at a constant speed and the material removal tool may be advanced in the axial direction at an oscillating speed.

摘要: A method of providing electrical insulation for at least one portion of a bearing element is disclosed herein. The method includes electrostatically spraying a polymer coating to the at least one portion of the bearing element, and the polymer coating comprises a thermoset epoxy coating or a self-adhering nylon powder coating. The bearing element can be grounded during the electrostatic spraying. The method includes heating the polymer coating in an oven at a temperature less than or equal to 220° C. for a predetermined time, such that after removal from the oven, the polymer coating has a porosity of less than 10%. The coated bearing element has a resistance of at least 50 MΩ resistance under dry conditions and 10 MΩ resistance under wet conditions.

The method also includes grinding and honing the first bearing component, measuring a first dimension of the first bearing component, grinding and honing the second bearing component, and combining the first bearing component and the second bearing component to form a roller bearing or a slide bearing. The first production line and the second production line are operated in a synchronized manner such that the second grinding machine or the second honing machine is operated under closed-loop control using the first dimension.
