    摘要: A sliding bearing 1 is formed into a cylindrical shape by placing abutting surfaces 11A and 12A of a pair of half-bearings 11 and 12 so as to abut against each other. Two foreign substance discharging grooves 5 and 5′ inclined with respect to an axial direction of the sliding bearing 1 are formed on a sliding surface 3 adjacent to an inner circumferential edge 4 of the abutting surfaces 11A and 12A. When a lubricant is supplied to the sliding surface 3, a foreign substance 6 mixed in the lubricant is trapped by foreign substance discharging grooves 5 and 5′ and then discharged out of the sliding bearing 1 from ends 5A and 5B (5A′ and 5B′) open to end faces 7 and 8. It is thereby possible to provide the sliding bearing 1 with good foreign substance discharge characteristics.

Chamfered portions 11D, 12D are formed in inward edge portions of the above-described abutment surfaces 11B, 12B, and a dust pocket 15 is formed on the middle side of the chamfered portions 11D, 12D. The relative angle α formed by the above-described crush reliefs 11E, 12E with sliding surfaces 13 in positions adjoining the crush reliefs 11E, 12E is set at 0.69° or more.Foreign substances 14 in a lubricating oil are discharged from openings of side portions of the crush reliefs 11E, 12E to the outside and are prevented from easily entering the sliding surfaces 13. A sliding bearing excellent in seizure resistance compared to that of conventional art can be provided.

    摘要: A connector assembly includes a metal terminal, a lead wire, a connector housing and a sealing member. The metal terminal defines a longitudinal direction. The metal terminal comprises: a lead-wire connection portion located on a front end side; a counterpart connection portion located on a rear end side; and a press-fit portion located between the lead-wire connection portion and the counterpart connection portion. The press-fit portion comprises a curved portion which curves around an imaginary axis extending in the longitudinal direction. The lead wire comprises an end portion connected to the lead-wire connection portion of the metal terminal and comprising an outer circumferential surface. The connector housing comprises a press-fit hole having a wall surface. The press-fit portion of the metal terminal is press-fit into the press-fit hole. The sealing member provides a seal between the outer circumferential surface of the lead wire and the wall surface of the press-fit hole.

When lubricant oil is supplied to the dust pocket 4, foreign substances 6 mixed in the lubricant oil are caught by the dust pocket 4 and then, discharged efficiently to the outside of the sliding bearing 1 through the foreign-substance discharge grooves 5 and 5′. The sliding bearing 1 having favorable foreign-substance discharging performances can be provided.

The rotation preventing groove 6b is formed to be deeper than the annular recess 6a, and in a surface of the lower side half-split thrust bearing 12 on the side of the crank arm, a groove 12c is formed from the rotation preventing protrusion 12b to an inner peripheral portion of the lower side half-split thrust bearing 12. This can prevent partial contact of the thrust bearing, and prevent breakage due to stress concentration as much as possible.
