Abstract:
A method of producing a tool insert which comprises a central metal portion having edge regions of superabrasive material bonded thereto and presenting cutting edges or points for the tool insert is disclosed. A body (50) having major surfaces on each of opposite sides thereof, each having spaced strips (64) of superabrasive material, typically abrasive compact such as PCBN or PCD, for example, separated by a metal region or regions, such as cemented carbide, is provided. Each superabrasive strip of one major surface is arranged in register with a superabrasive strip of the opposite major surface. Alternatively, each superabrasive strip extends from one major surface to the opposite major surface. The body is severed from one major surface to the opposite major surface along at least two sets of planes intersecting at or in the respective superabrasive strips to produce the tool insert.
Abstract:
According to the present invention, a fail-safe circuit for controlling an actuator is provided with an input voltage which is rectified and converted to a DC voltage. The DC voltage is boosted to a high level, and high voltage storage capacitors are charged at this high voltage level resulting in smaller, less expensive capacitors. The high voltage from the storage capacitors is then converted back to a smaller DC voltage to drive the motor of the actuator. Reduced size and increased energy storage is based on the relationship between capacitance and voltage in the equation: E=½CV2.

A method and system for secure distribution and tracking of information and content of a third party via multiple social networks is described. The invention takes information and content marked to be promoted by a third party using an online application, and distributes and promotes the information to the social networks of everyone who is signed up as an ‘ambassador’ for that third party. When published, the information and content includes a personalized link associated with each ambassador to social network combination. Via the nature of social networks, this information is additionally redistributed into the users who are associated with those ambassadors in their social networks. As those users follow the personalized links back to the promoted information and content, the source ambassador to social network combination gets recorded and statistics about that user's viewing of the information and content are recorded. The online application records relevant statistics that the third party requires, and this information is then compiled into real time reports that detail the path that the promoted information and content traveled to drive users to the promoted information and content, as well as any resultant actions such as pages viewed, purchases made or items downloaded.
Abstract:
A substance container may be used for containing substances such as liquids or powders. The container assembly includes a body. A top panel of the body includes a flap that folds into the back panel of the body. A first aperture is located on the front panel to accommodate a dispensing assembly. A second aperture is also located on the top panel to accommodate a filling assembly. The filling assembly does not protrude past an uppermost plane represented by a top surface of the body.

Abstract:
A damper actuator assembly comprises an actuator and an electronic fusible link (EFL) connected by at least one wire. The actuator comprises an actuator housing with actuator leads extending from the actuator housing. The actuator leads include a first quick connect positioned on an end of the actuator lead. A flexible conduit material covers the actuator lead. The EFL comprises an EFL housing which is separate from the actuator housing. The EFL housing includes a quick connect seat and an integral conduit adaptor. A second quick connect is positioned on an end of the EFL lead. When the end of the flexible conduit material that includes the actuator lead and first quick connect is inserted into the integral conduit adaptor of the EFL housing, the first quick connect is coupled to the second quick connect and an electrical connection is established between the actuator and the EFL.
Abstract:
A method of producing a tool insert having superabrasive cutting points or edges is disclosed. A body (10) of a hard metal having major surfaces (12, 14) on each of opposite sides thereof, such as a cemented carbide disc, is provided. Each major surface of the body has an array of pockets (12) filled with a superabrasive material, typically an abrasive compact such as PCBN or PCD, for example. A pocket of one major surface is arranged to be in register with a pocket of the opposite major surface. The body is severed from one major surface to the opposite major surface along at least two sets of planes intersecting at or in respective superabrasive filled pockets to produce the tool insert. The severing of the body is carried out in such a manner as to expose the superabrasive material to form a cutting tip or edge in the tool insert.

A substance container may be used for containing substances such as liquids or powders. The container assembly includes a body. The body contains a bag to contain the substance. At least a portion of the side walls of the body may include a double panel thickness to add strength to the container assembly. A first aperture located on the body to accommodate a dispensing assembly. A second aperture is also located on the body to accommodate a filling assembly. While the filling assembly is located near a top of the body, it does not protrude past a plane represented by a top surface of the body.

Abstract:
An automated machine for and the method of fabricating containers made from a cardboard paperboard or corrugated paperboard blank having an inner liquid holding bag secured to the inner surface of the paperboard box. The liquid holding bag includes a spout that extends through a spout opening formed in the paperboard blank. During the fabrication process the spout is utilized to precisionally locate the liquid holding bag so that when the panel of the blank with the spout opening is folded down over the spout, the spout will be properly aligned with the spout opening thus facilitating the automatic assembly of the container. In this automatic assembly process the liquid holding bag is secured to the inner surface of the container at multiple locations such that when the container is opened into its three dimensional use configuration a passage is opened for filling the bag through the spout.
